i have 2 toons on each of 2 accounts. i want to be ablwe to choose either charter from one account and then choose any character from second account. with my two toons i want to have one be main and one be follower.

i have been trying for some time to get a a focus/follow macro and an opening macro with one or two spells, followed by second macro with one or two spells, and end with a shoot macro with both toons shooting (if they both can shoot)

i have had no luck at all getting it to work. can someone help me, please.

ok some more information on what i have tried.

toon 1 (tylendal)
follow macro for each toon (as stated above i want either to be able to become main)

/target Party1

/follow

/assist

/stopcasting

toon2 (dermul)

/target Party1

/follow

/assist
/stopcasting

i had tylendal start group and dremul accept. both had follow macro in slot 1. dremul did not follow when pushed.

first cast macro, in slot 2 of tylendal

/castsequence Corruption; Curse of Agony

in slot 1 of dremul

/cast [target=focustarget] Stormstrike;

/cast [target=focustarget] Shamanistic Rage

nothing is cast by dremul when Ty pushes button 2

not surprising since he ddoes not follow but....

help please

Not sure where to start here. There is only one party1 you should not have both of them following party1. What are you using to send the keystroke to the second account? Keyclone? AutoHotKey? I take it your first toon is set to focus?

What key broadcasting software are you using? If you aren't using one..then your key presses won't pass to both windows.

To switch and have a toon follow and assist the other you could use (going from memory..):

Toon1
F8 key: /clearfocus
F9 key: /focus toon2
/pr toon2

Toon2
F8 key: /focus toon1
/pr toon1
F9 key: /clearfocus

If you are using Keyclone with maximizer, you can assign the F8 and F9 keys to the regions, and it will swap the screens out when you change leaders as well. ;)

Then you would need to either add /assist focus to your spell macros, or you can make a seperate key for assist and follow using:

<your_key>: /assist focus
<your_key>: /follow focus

Castsequences..try:

/castsequence reset=target/combat Corruption, Curse of Agony

Shamanistic Rage doesn't need a target if I recall correctly...

ok i am using keyclone. found out i did not have it working and needed to reboot. things are better but...
ok here is what i have so far

main toon is party1 focus macro in slot 1 and is dummy (nothing in it)
alt toon focus macro in slot 1 : /cleartarget /focus party1 /target party1 /follow /assist /stopmacro

this works.

main toon, opening salvo in 2nd slot: /castsequence Curse of Agony, Corruption

(both spells fire on two pushes of button)

alt toon, opening also in slotr 2 : /cast [target=focustarget] Shadow Word: Pain;

/cast [target=focustarget] Smite

(also works)

main toon 2nd salvo in slot 3: /castsequence Sshadow Bolt; Imolate
(works)

alt toon 2nd salvo in slot 3: /focus party1

/cast [target=focustarget] Mana Burn;

/cast [target=focustarget] Mind Blast

(does not fire at all. tried withou /focus party1 and with it. no fire. tried without ";" after Burn and with it, no fire)

I don't see what i am missing on t he alt's 2nd salve to cause it not to fire at all.

main toon final in slot 4 : /cast Shoot

alt toon final in slot 4 : /assist party1

/cast Shoot
works. i tried it without the /assist party1 and it did not work. with /assist party1 it works but has a little hitch. ie timing not in sink. shrug. still works.

can someone help witlh my mistake in the 2nd salvo for the alt t oon??
