Enjoyable night

Tonight the tide turned. We struggled up to 1701.. I finally got my boots and enchanted them. After this everything felt easier for some reason. We cruised quite casually all the way to 1744 before losing. Quite a nice night, and tomorrow my shaman will be wearing Brutal chests.

Gotta love tuesdays. Easy mode.

Thank you. I'm actually not sure what the next goal will be - 1800 for vengeful weapons doesn't feel really important.

Maybe a sub-100 rank would be nice. We're currently ranked 225 with 1721 rating.

I've always considered Tuesdays to be a good night for Arena because you always get a load of last minute teams put together to get points. Most of them are complete strangers and provide you with some easy wins. Also, because there are so many teams cramming in their games, its very rare for you to play the same team twice, which imo always gives you the upper hand. Nice work with your rank :D

Yep entirely true. Since there are so many bad teams playing, they fill up the near-1500 bracket with rating points that propagate up to higher ratings.

just be careful and dont let all ur games for tuesday night. some weeks ago arenas went down all tuesday night on my battlegroup, ppl that didnt played their games....got screwed. I always play some at sunday at least.

Hmm... Tuesday nights, eh?Tuesdays because in Europe, wednesday morning is the weekly maintenance and arena point rewards. So a lot of unexperienced and bad teams play that night. At over 1650 you don't particularly meet those teams, but their rating is munched up by the 1550-1600 teams that do have skills, and the points propagate up during the night.
