I've been playing with keyclone for the past few hours. I was wondering if there is a option or way to remember settings or bypass the overall setup process.

Everytime I load keyclone, I have to open WoW (from diff computers / folders), resize / position the windows, rename each window and assign custom keymaps to each window.

I was wondering if there is an option of loading WoW (each from different directory) and renaming and assigning keymaps which are deteremined by which folder it was launched. I know this is difficult to do across computers. The setup process each time I want to 5 box is close to 3-4 minutes, which isn't bad, just seeing if I missed anything.

A related non-keyclone question: Is there an application that is able to launch WoW resized ( I prefer 640x480 window sizes) and remember the position? Thinking if there isn't, I might start on a .NET program that could do this for me. =)

Thanks.

keep in mind that you do not have to use keymaps... by default, all keys are passed to each clone.

i might suggest you look at using the built-in maximizer with commands. the command will allow you to specify a simple string (like wow1) to a program (like c:\program files\world of warcraft\wow.exe)... it will also allow you to associate a specific keymap to load onto the window once it comes up.

to run a command, you have 2 options. within a single keyclone, just type the command into the combobox at the bottom of the main keyclone screen and hit enter. the downarrow button allows you to select from history.

alternatively, you can run the command from another machine using the nickname (like B:wow1)

and if you combine the command and maximizer, you'll be able to have your windows resize and position themselves depending on their region.
