Okay here is another question, I am going to school to be a VB .net Programmer but thats going to take a year or so more. What Microsoft Certifications should I look into in the time being? Something that will help me get a job in the computer field.

Depending on what you want to do the 2 most desireably by employers would be MCP Vista & Windows 2003/2008 Server.

If you're doing networked apps, MCSE is a good track.

IT Qualifications are a mixed bag.

MCSE is an excellent course to take (and relatively easy to pass).
I've never looked at any of the developer courses so I can't really comment, but if you want to get a good foothold on the IT ladder, I'd strongly recommend an MCSE and maybe a CCNA. Both of these are globally recognised and will earn you a few more grand a year than if you didn't have them.

As others have said any MCP would help you break into a help desk type job to start with - take a desktop or server test to start with.

If your goal is to be a developer, I think getting a full MCSE would take too much of your time that could best be used working on your MCPD. A lot of study material is available on the cheap, so you should be able to get a good way into this well before your school is done, plus it will augment your learning at the same time. Good luck!
