Hi all,
I have read though most guides and help sections so hopefully my questions aren't too annoying!
A bit about myself:
I have been playing MMO for many years now - starting with Dark Age of Camelot, then Everquest 2 and ended on WoW, with bried stints on a few others along the way. By the time I reached WoW I was starting to get very bored with the whole kill-a-mob, rest, kill-a-mob grind. I tried multi boxing - but with no formal software help - just me playing up to 4 characters on up to 3 seperate machines.
<removed content that violated the forum rules>
Sooooo after a break I find myself wondering if 5 boxing might be a worthwhile. I last played before BC had come out - so way behind the curve in terms of what is happening in the game at the moment.
My main aims atm are: having fun, melting endless streams of mobs, instance runs for the challenges and some PvP.
enough about me....
My Questions:
I have 2 main machines I can use: a high spec intel quattro with 4GB, 8800GTX card, Dual 20 inch 1600x1200 monitors and RAID drives etc and a Dual core with 2GB and failry standard but modern specs. I also have a G15 keyboard and Nostroma keypad.
1. Is my high end machine sufficient for smooth play including PvP while 5-boxing?
2. If, as I suspect, it is not and I have to use both machines, should I go Octopus or Keyclone (I presume from what I can see that they both support multiple machines)? Which would be best for multiple accounts over multiple machines?
3. Would I have much use for the G15 and/or the Nostromo? Suggestions please if yes.
4. I would like to go 5xshaman. Is this still a good team for all modes of play, including levelling easily, instance running and PvP? If not, then what would you recommend?
5. Alliance or Horde - I have no real preference but what would you suggest?
6. Related to 5 - which race is best these days?
7. PvP or PvE server?
Looking forward to a new adventure......
