View Full Version : Does multiboxing hinder player development?
Do any of you worry about geting too reliant on multiboxing? The strategies for soloing / grouping / multiboxing differ. Any tips for ensuring you keep up to date on how to play your character when not in Zerg mode?
Then after 30 - 45 minutes of looking for a group for whatever you're trying to do, fire up the secondary accounts and go back to boxing. :)
I see my future oh so clearly.

If all you ever did was multibox and never played a single toon in a group, I might agree, but I think most people here have played the 1 or 2 toons to 70 and then came back to level more at once. Or maybe it's just me... I needed another challenge after playing 2 toons to 70 and raiding for a couple years.

Ditto.
I was hardcore into guild wars pvp. WoW is so tame in comparison, and what I enjoyed about GW was building group makeups and synergy in builds with 8 people who each have hundreds of skills but can only bring 8 per game (and different attributes/"talent points").
That's why I enjoy multiboxing. If I could, I'd respec hourly just to play around with different group synergy.
