Pally - Druid 2 Box combo

I just got my Pally an Druid up to 60 through boosting.
Now that I'm in the Outlands its time to start questing together. I'm wondering what people think about this combo. I've never been a big fan of the Pally or Druid class but I'm thinking it might be a good combo to level with.

If anyone can give me some input on what they think would be the best way to duo them it would be great. As of right now, I'm mostly trying to AoE everything with the Pally an have the Druid heal me. Its kinda effective but it is not going as fast as I would of thought. My gear does suck though so I'm sure it will get better as I improve my gear.

I'm trying to figure out if I should stay Prot with the Pally an Resto with the druid. Right now I can pull about 6 -9 mobs an keep myself alive without much of a problem. But it is taking forever to kill them all.

Would it be better to spec the Druid boomkin an have him dps an then off heal when the pally got low? I also tried feral an to have the druid just dps whatever target I was hitting but it got confusing with all the mobs an having to position properly.

I wish I would of boosted the Shammy instead of the Druid now :(

I'd recommend Feral/DPS spec for the Druid and just "tow" the Pally for buffs (Atk Power), heals and the occasional cleansing or AoE help. Feral Druids mow stuff down extremely fast, especially when backed up by a healer. Pally AoE is dreadfully slow unless backed up by Mages, Shamans or Priests.

Overall, I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with this combo. I ran it for awhile and had a ton of fun with it

For pure leveling speed, I'd do something like 34/0/17. I'd grab Improved Blessing of Might up through Improved Ret Aura on the Retribution tree, then put remaining points in Holy for improved Int, heals and resists. Your Druid will be close to unstoppable (for quests) at that point.

I suppose this goes without saying, but I'd recommend Cat Form for nearly everything and the occasional Bear Form for elite mobs.

Yer gonna hafta figure once yeh hit 60 its gonna be slower to level.

basically last 60 levels gone by so fast its like hitting a brick wall come 60+. (thats what it felt like to me anyways :) )

make sure yeh got Blessing of Sanctuary, Retribution Aura and the druids thorns on the pali.
And grab all the spell damage yeh can for the pali, slap on yer pali weap Enchant Weapon - Major Spellpower doesnt matter if the weapon 10 levels out of date as long as yeh got that enchant on it.

That being said you can go all out dps and burn down single targets really fast speccing druid boomkin and pali ret.
Or yeh could go druid feral but its allot easier to go boomkin and not have to worry about keeping 2 chars in melee range.

Stuff to know about prot pally AoE:
You want nice shield spike on your shield. (Thorium or Fel Steel)
A shield with damage reflect/on hit of some kind is nice ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=25828 )
Try to get gear with block rating
Redoubt
Use Blessing of Sanctuary
Holy Shield
Retribution Aura

So, with this, thorns and a healer, you can practially pull all the melee mobs you like.
I'd spec the druid for Brambles (increased damage from thorns) and then rest in resto.
HoT the pala and cast hurricane, Rince and repeat.
Point with AoE'in with pala, PULL A LOT! not 5-6 or maybe 10, go for 20+. Just make sure Holy Shield is always active,
heal with the druid and maybe assist with Hurricane.
