BG Out of Party Unit Frames

Ok, I've seen reference to an addon in the past that lets you create your own unit frame group of players even if your team isn't in the same group in a battleground. For the life of me I can't find this little plugin. I know most of the time a 5 boxing team gets leader but it doesn't always happen and this would help solve my issues. Does anyone have a link to this thread? I fail at search. :cursing: ?(

which supports defining custom groups by char name (hint: comma separated but no spaces).

I tried it and the custom parties work fine but found the unit frames lacking the variety of frames I am too used to with Pitbull, so I stuck with Pitbull.

Thanks, I have pitbull currently myself. I was looking at the raid tab where you can reassign groups if you are the leader and I have an option to Shift Drag individual people into a seperate unit frame. I'm not sure if this is built into Blizzard or something else is giving me this functionality. Regardless it's probably good enough for now.

Sounds interesting... could you show an image of what you end up with as I tried dragging people from the raid tab and nothing happens, well, something appears to drag but then nothing happens.

I've been lucky, so far, and have always been RL in the BGs I've joined, so I've moved my Shammies together and only show own group in a raid with Pitbull... however, sooner or later, someone else will be RL and it would be nice to have a way to monitor the girls if that happens.

I put a big red square around it in the right hand section of the screen.

I assumed it was either pitbull or the default raid functionality. I'll have to review my ui stuff and try to figure it out. The nice thing is it's persisting through log out and bg's.

Ah, yes, that looks very much like the default UI, where you can drag people out of the raid tab and onto the desktop and, as you say, it remembers if it finds them in the raid in future... but that stopped working for me once I install Pitbull.

How are you dragging them onto the desktop... from the "O" raid tab?

Shift dragging them from the O raid tab. I honestly think it's default functionality.

Edit: I'll test it out later on.
