Alt tabbing? wth. My computer could barely support 1 EQ. I had to purchase new computers to handle multiple copies of EQ and used a KVM switch to toggle between computers.

6 boxed a warrior, monk, cleric, enchanter, 2x ranger.

I wanted to slide in a bard there, but I could not figure out a way to efficiently twist in songs :(
No Selo's but I was content with sow though. so meh.

I was a purist and I didn't roll any hybrids.

I guess rangers were considered hybrids in EQ, but I needed DPS classes that could stay at range and dps with minimum maintenance.

Speaking of, I actually used 2 wizards for DPS until Luclin came out and the AA system was introduced. I started leveling the rangers for their Endless Quiver AA to keep sustained free dps that did not require any sort of real maintenance but I never finished leveling them until Planes of Power.

The wizzys hold a special place in my heart still as my DPS core because of how long they stayed with me and their fancy ice comets. :)

I started playing all my characters 1 at a time before I finally had the idea of trying to play them all at once. It first started out because I was tanking in a group but we needed a healer. So i logged in my cleric and tanked and healed with alt tab.

Then the group lost its dps so I brought in a wizard and eventually it just sort of snowballed into me playing my own group. Kinda funny how I came upon multiboxing. Hell, I was multiboxing 2 accounts in WoW since the beginning before I knew about this website. Warrior and a Healadin and then a Shaman in TBC. Keyclone really helped in setting up multiple WoWs though :)

Oh yea, I derailed the post. Um, Yea monks. I had one hell of a time learning how to FD Split pulls :P I was fairly bad at it until I got all the way up to Seblis. Farming the golem pulls pre throne room.

In EQ started with Warrior/Priest then added a chanter later-on. With this combo i could pull with the war lock down any adds. Heal with the priest and add DPS if i got bored. Grinded out 400AA's this way. Played on three machines most of the time with three keyboards, three monitors, ...

Spent some time in Luclin playin with the snakes in the zone with no air. Fun corpse runs there.

When POP came out, i did the cave area in the zone with the crystal dragon boss, or if that was taken the back wall.

Fun times in HOH halls once i had that key, POE entrance area was fun too.

I never actually farmed much in PoP. I was my guild's leader and I could only zone in 18 people into PoTime. Stupid piece of shit place. Took us 14 hours to drop rathe council with almost 80 people and they would only let 18 people in.... EIGHTEEN. We all quit after that.

I pretty much dumped all my accounts for something like 5k USD each and started Lineage 2 beta then came to WoW beta. Feels like so long ago.'

But when i WAS in pop i grinded out AAs in the pit in Plane of War. I would charm and use the cleric to heal and such. I usually bought some summonable gear from a mage to buff out the charm pet as well. I eventually moved unto charming in upper BoT by karana, but it was a bit harder.

Haha those where the days for sure... I had a Shadowknight for tank, Cleric for heals, Shaman for slows, Bard (used n52 for twisting songs), Mage and a Wizard. Played on 4 computers with a KVM switch between two of the computers.

I'm firmly in the "What good old days?" camp. Had I known then what I know now, I'd have been a terror in DAoC.
