First post couple issues

Hello all.



I am using keyclone and I have it up and running. I am going over the wiki and I am having one basic issue so far:

I am 2 boxing mages and when I move them around they are running in opposit directions. I use WSDA to move, and the only way I can get them to follow properly is to use Do Not Pass. However with a mage the DNP option initially seems sub optimal due ot the facing issue with casting fireballs.

A second question I have is trying to use a loot function with the 2nd character without tabbing (quest items).

I apologize if these questions have been asked several times but I will personally only need to be helped once!

Hello, imo you pretty much have to have w,a,s,d on Do-Not-Pass. If not they will run opposite directions when you right click and move your angle with your mouse. I haven't ran 2 mages yet, thinking im going to soon, but from what i have read around here, you need to just have one of them be the tank while the other just pew pews behind him.

Edit: And for the loot function, i am also still looking for a way. There is that multiboxer v2 addon out that will auto accept quests and follow after combat, but i still haven't found anything to loot like you're talking about.

I play with my windows all visible so for some items I just click to loot in the smaller window, I also use keyclones PIP feature to let me swap windows, and have it setup so any of my alts can be leader. This means collect N of X I collect N then switch "mains".

Sounds like your problem is more a macro (/follow) than keyclone issue. Also there isnt a way to have the alt auot loot - you still have to tab and click. (whoever figures that one out will be a hero)

I also use keyclones PIP feature to let me swap windows, and have it
setup so any of my alts can be leader. This means collect N of X I
collect N then switch "mains". actually, using the pip feature to swap your 'mains' is a very good way to get into the practice of changing your 'mains'.. it also tests your macros to insure everything is correct in case you do lose your 'main' and need to transition.

your pip swap/focus macro should also do a '/follow focus' in the same macro... so all you need to do is hit 1 key and the screen swap and you are on your way.

I run 5 characters, using one of the maximizer layouts from your website. Keyclone is set up to swap screens with F8 through F12. How do you get it to set the focus for everyone to the char in the screen you are switching to (and also change the /follow for everyone) using 1 key, like you said?

Two techniques come in mind for doing this:

1. using focus for the leader and simple have different macros on F8 - F12 which set the focus of all toons corresponding to the pip-switch (this is the one keyclone described)
2. using the ftl-setup ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Focusless_Targetless_Leaderless_Setup')

A lot of people also put WASD on the do not pass list but d not put the arrow keys on the list. Then they can move all toons with the arrow keys or just the main.
