So recently.. started my shamans testing it out.. it worked fine.. then i started to install an addon.. to help with accepting quests. i think it was called multibox. now.. when i reset it.. it says i do not have burning crusade and i do.. sigh..
anyways.. any tips for doing shamans? i used the wiki guide.. with the maximizer and the /follow and assist commands in bar keybind 6 and 7.. they follow and assist.. but its annoying always have to always assist every time.. any other guides or suggestions would be great

create cast macro's for your slaves
eg.
Main follow macro
/target Mainname
/follow
Lightning Bolt
/cast [target=targettarget, harm] [] Lightning Bolt
Earth Shock
/cast [target=targettarget, harm] [] Earth Shock
Healing
/cast [target=targettarget, help] [] Healing Wave
etc
There are a few threads out there that show you how to box without using focus or assist.
Personally my slaves only ever stop targeting my main if they are looting or meleeing.

Could be that your install is corrupt? Have you tried reinstalling BC?

Post the actual full name of the mod you're using. Saying "i think it was called multibox" doesn't inspire much confidence.
What does "when I reset it" mean? Is that an option inside the mod or what? Where is the message displayed?
Your post lacks sufficient detail for anybody to even stab at fixing it.
As for "any tips on doing Shamans", well this site is pretty much Shaman multibox central so use the following links:
How to ask a question (http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555375)
Guides (http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Vyndree%27s_Guide_to_Guides)
Software tools forum (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Board&boardID=35)
Forum search facility (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?form=search)
Better, but off-site search facility (http://www.google.com/coop/cse?cx=008057042136573243121%3A8oo5ucbwy-s)
Wiki (http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki)
In there, you'll find a "complete Shaman macro set" (thats a hint...) that should get you starting in the right direction.

Account 1. Retail account. (10 day free trial of BC? i never did that. maybe when i applied for Apt in WOTLk it did it)
I deleted WTF, Interface, patch.txt, and realmlist.
I log into the account and before it gets to the server list it says you do not have BC installed and you must download it before you continue
Exit Game or Return to Login
Account 2. Slave/Clone account. Trial account.
Logs in perfectly.

Ok, and what's that got to do with the mod you mentioned? Or multiboxing?
I'm clearly missing something important here.

To remove the addon did you actually do what you said you did....
"I deleted WTF, Interface, patch.txt, and realmlist."
As in you deleted the folders WTF, Interface - if you did then this is probably why your install of wow is no longer working.
Can you retrieve these from the recycle bin? (Unlikely). otherwise I would suggest reinstalling wow.
For future reference - to remove an add on, goto the interface/addon directory and delete the folder named after the addon you want to remove.

If I was a cynic then I would suggest that the problem was caused by having picked up some dodgy game files from somewhere other than the Blizzard servers.
In any case, the problem was clearly not caused by the mod, nor by anything related to multiboxing.

You can delete the WTF folder, it will be recreated.
I'm not sure about the WHOLE Interface folder though. I mean it contains some blizzard addon folders that you might need to keep. Then again maybe not.
In any case, to remove an addon you should simply remove that addon folder from the "Interface/Addons" folder. You can also remove the WTF folder to remove the SavedVariables as well, but not usually necessary (and a lot of work to reconfigure all)

Its quite unusual but after reading the first 10 posts in this thread I wanted to punch myself in the face... probably due to lack of sleep I'm thinkin :)
