Maximizer and 2 screens, resolution help.

Hi, what a great community you have here :)

Well I just learnt(still learning) about multiboxing and have been constantly reading about macros, addons, setups, etc since I discovered it. My 2 chars Im planing to lvl together haven't even got past lvl 2 because i've spent all my time reading and configuring things. :(

But I've hit a problem I can't seem to fix or find a solution to. I need help setting up maximizer for 2 screens, my main and alt, on 1 monitor. My windows screeen resolution is 1280x1024 atm but I really prefer to use 1024x768 (which I have usually but changed while playing with maximizer) and I think my monitor is 17inch. I tried to make my main window 1280x600 and my alt 1280x424 but this resulted in a really hard to use/see interface, fonts, etc. I found a link to http://solidice.com/keyclone/layouts/ which has a layout for 1280x1024(2screens) but i have an older version of keyclone (1.8g) and it doesn't have an import feature. I tried manually making the layout and adjusting the .ini file in the keyclone directory but when I do it's still really small and unusable and it disapears whenever I mouseover my main window...

So, could someone please shed some light as to how I get 2 usable windows or a way to use those settings in the link without importing to keyclone, please? I've seen various screenshots and videos where there's 5 screens and all of them are usuable, to the extent u can read name/hp/etc. text on unitframes, which on mine, wasnt really readable. Any help is greatly appreciated, anything else I missed that you need to know just let me know.

You could try having your main one at 1280x600 (if your comfortable running at that resolution) and your other one running at the same, but overlapping part of your main and just have it in the background?

Looking at the screenshots of that setup (with one always ontop) you could get it to work like that, change the font size in chat to 18pt (still hard to read, but better .. or get a chat mod like Prat2.0 to change it so its bigger) and then just get ZQB ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=5713') to make it so its easier for you to accept quests/hand in quests/etc.
Because you can easily see NPC's on the small one, and if you use ZQB then you just open up npc chat on both and the slave copies quest handins/etc that the main does.

Thanks I tried what you suggested and messed around abit more and i guess I have a working layout now :) well, gonna try with 3 chars at once now, so might be back for more questions!

but i have an older version of keyclone (1.8g) and it doesn't have an import featureummm... why not just download the latest, v1.8k? if you have a license, you get all updates for free.
