Hi everyone!
First post here (lurking around for about a month). I recently was reading Suvega' Brain Dump ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Suvega%27s_Brain_Dump#Boosting') on the wiki of this site and read "EVERY ACCOUNT YOU EVER MULTIBOX NEEDS TO BE IN THE SAME NAME. PERIOD. YOU WILL GET BANNED. YOU WILL GET BANNED." Now, two of my accounts are directly registered to me. However, for some reason I didn't use my name for the other three accounts. They all share my last name and address but the first name on the accounts are different. I don't know if I was trying to be clever at the time and it didn't seem like a bad idea but after reading that note from Suvega what do you guys think? Should I make 3 new accounts that have the exact same registration information as mine and mothball the offending three or will I be ok to keep playing and not have to worry about any future trouble? Thanks for your help :)

i think is fine, as long as they all share the same surname :)

Here's a thread that describes a very similar situation (http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=83258#post83258).
The key post here, perhaps is:
A clearly fake name "i.e. 'Mickey Mouse'" is POSSIBLE to change -- but realize that you signed the terms of use/eula saying that you would provide accurate information and you did not.
It's up to Blizzard if they are going to be nice enough to allow you a second chance on your current accounts. If not, you're out of luck -- buy new accounts. If so... well thank Blizzard for being so forgiving.
I'd say try it -- report yourself for having a fake name on the account and see how far you can get.

I had the exact same problem, using my wifes account for 1 box -- I decided that the cost of a new account was low enough that I rather not risk it, so I got a new one and transfered the character(s) over.

Thanks for the quick replies as well as that forum link, it explained a lot. To avoid any potential hiccups I'm going to make 3 new accounts with exactly matching registration information as recommended.

(Quick note because the intarwebz is not good at transmitting emotion: I'm not yelling at anyone, I just think these links make for good reading for the OP's situation. I am not intending to mock or yell at him in any way. :) Mistakes happen, I just think the following threads would be informative. Oki, I'm done. :) )
These are some other threads regarding account names, bannings related to account names, and incorrect (misspelled, fake, "whoops!") names. You might find them useful.

If the names on your accounts are noticably mis-typed or fake, people HAVE had success getting the names updated. That being said, there is no guarantee, but you may want to look these threads over and make an informed decision. :)

What do you mean you transferred the character(s) over? You don't mean from your wifes account do you? I do not think that would work, I tried to transfer characters from two of my own accounts, one with "II" suffix and one without, I had to file a bunch of paperwork with blizz to get the suffix removed from that one account prior to being able to complete the transfer. None of my other 6 accounts have been set up with the suffix as a result, names need to match, at least the last name and suffix. I was told that an abbreviated first name isn't usually an issue.

As long the last surnames are an exact match, it goes through fine.

consider this scenario:
2 accounts same first name , different last names, different e-mails, and adresses. this can put the accounts in risk?

Us: Account ownership information must match between accounts ('http://us.blizzard.com/support/article.xml?articleId=20576') as per the ToU ('http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/termsofuse.html').
You: Two accounts have different last names. Will they be at risk?
Us: ..... /facepalm ('http://dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=82893#post82893')
