So i've started a Paladin + 4 Mage Setup...

...and i haven't got a clue how i should spec the Paladin. I boosted it free with the granted levels, so not only do i not have a clue how to play it, i don't have the foggiest idea whether i should go prot or holy for leveling from 60-70.. (i'm 60 atm..).

Any suggestions? I'd love to try soloing an instance, although i doubt it'd be possible with the lack of a healer (if i put my paladin protection).

But.. I'm a bit of a PvP whore, so having it holy would help keep my team alive longer for the odd AV game while leveling to 70...

Open to any/all suggestions and recommendations :)

If you're doing world PVP a lot with 'em, I'd spec retribution DPSLOL spec. If you're mostly doing PVE stuff (like I was), go protection.

Not sure how effective it is to have a tank with no healer...I would go holy and heal the mages...

HA! I have the same set up. 4 mages 1 pally....all of them 60 but 1 mage thats 70

I havent got to play around with it as much as i want to, but it looks like it's going to be a lot of fun. I'll post again here over the next few days to let you know how it works out.
The sheep macro in the wiki was VERY helpfull.
