Wow...

It tells you exactly how to do it in the comments of the video...
We tell you exactly how to do it in the sticky in the software forum here...

And it specifically states NO kvm required.

It's called Synergy.

Does synergy simply allow you to move your mouse across the side of the screen onto another like that? I havent tried it out yet... but that video comments say that its MaxVista that can do it, not Synergy.

Synergy can be set up to allow movement from one screen to the other, locked control with hotkey screen selection, or, with the moded version on these forums, you can broadcast your keyboard/mouse to all systems.

All that and its free :P

Synergy lets you use 1 keyboard and mouse with multiple systems/monitors. It turns the multiple systems into one giant extended desktop with some limitations:

You cannot drag applications between machines.
You can copy and paste between machines.

MaxiVista does the same thing but lets you drag applications between the machines - this does NOT include DirectX applications (Games).
