WTF my other two characters arent getting EXP!

I just noticed my other two characters werent getting experience for almost a whole LVL, Seriously, they are partied and yes I upgraded from trial accounts! That pisses me off cause I turned in a big quest after grinding and didn't get ANY exp on the other guys!

no xp at all? or just not the RAF bonus?

if no xp at all and you are level 20, then it's most probably that the trial account upgrade has not been taken into account. I know mine took a couple days on one of my toons.
If you are only missing out on the RAF xp, hum. not sure. were they grouped when you turned in the quest? was any component of the quest grey to them?

If your toons are 60, have you upgraded to TBC?

Something that happened to me once was this.

Quest was green to all 5 characters.
Acct 1 turns in quest and levels up. Now quest would be gray for acct 1.
Accts 2-5 turn in quest and do not get bonus. Now 2-5 are a full 1/3 lvl behind acct 1.

How to get around this if you know you are close to leveling and out leveling a quest:
Turn the quest in on the refered account first and then remove from the group. The others will now still get the bonus. Only prob is your vet account wont get a bonus but it is better to not get it on 1 account then on 4. You can catch up by doing a gather quest on only the vet account.

Or alternatively use a quest complete macro on them all at the same time.
I find if I turn in quests and one dings before the rest they will still get the extra xp because they all handed in simultaneously.

also, if you're killing mobs which are red to a character, they will get very little if any XP compared to killing an orange/yellow/green mob.
Ideally kill yellow level mobs.

LVL 22 lol but my mains lvl 23, Seriously early today I was partied and I watched as my main got exp each time we killed a mob and the others didn't I got so pissed I didn't log in for 6 hours later and for some reason it started working again... I am a full lvl behind but I am going to take the one guys advice in leaving the party after I turn in quest on alts so my main doesn't get the x3 bonus. Soooo confused but whatever, maybe lag or something. For a second I though blizzard fixed the whole RAFing haha.

Yes, I noticed that yesterday, was running my level 20's through SM Lib, they got ~231 xp. Switched to Armory after the Library run and they got LESS xp for higher level mobs (~213xp). I'm going to try GY today and see if they get more, being that the mobs there are closer to their level.

ZQB and/or turning in quests with a macro will not solve the issue of who levels first. Even though you issue the client side command the messages hit the server at different times. No matter what, someone finishes last. If there is a level difference, or one may level, it's definitely the best idea to manually turn the quest in on the nubs by hand first.
