x5 shaman team in wolk

Ok im 62.5 right now i can take down ramparts but the last boss. I can take bloodfurnace up to 2nd boss, havent quite got him. The 5 shaman team is fun and with the stacking of all my totems makes trash pretty easy but the bosses take a bit of practice. Is the 5 shaman team here to stay for wolk or shal i get a pally to 30 and boost to 59 on my main account ???

WoTLK is in beta.

Nobody can answer this question. 2 days, 2 hours, 2 weeks from now they can nerf or buff shaman to oblivion and then revert it in 2 days, 2 hours, 2 weeks.


Do what you enjoy doing. If you enjoy shaman, keep them. If you don't, try something new. :)

While I agree, I also believe that boosting a pally up and using it as tank, will make most PvE encounters almost trivial compared to running with no tank.

The game is supposed to be enjoyable - and a paladin-tank will even let you chainlightning stuff down, once consecration has been ticking for a few seconds... aoe-aggro ftw :)

Considering making a few new paladins, just for the hell of it... unless some insane synergy exists between locks and deathknight, then I might go for that instead...

I've ran every heroic in the game without a tank they aren't needed, but never hurts to help. Lvling a 2nd group currently to start 10boxing kara. Going to definately have a paladin for this kind of stuff :) As far as the OP question goes. With RAF out you can lvl pretty much EVERY class quickly giving you more options with WOTLK comes out. You can mix and match or stick with the shamans. My favorite class is by far shaman, so they will remain my main through WOTLK.
