EOTS Bagde Grind - Lvl 69 or 70?

Im currently sat at 69.95 on all 5 toons. Running pally/shammy team.

Question is pretty simple should i do EOTS now and get it out the way, or just get on with 70 and incorporate it with other things?

If i do it now the que times are massive and we seem to always lose. If i do it at 70 the que times are shorter, we still lose, but i get rolled.

Any suggestions or previous experience?

Depends: If the win/loss ratio is greater in 60-69 for your BG, do it now.

If the win/loss ratio is still good for when you're 70, do it at 70.

Stormstrike BG sucks for alliance side, so I try to hoard marks when I'm in the 60-69 bracket then just farm AV at 70.

at 69 you are going to burst down farm more horde then you are at 70, especially starting off with zero to no resil at 70. That being said dont know if i could resist the urge at 69.95 to not hit 70.

For me, eots at 70 is horrible. It's announced in Gchat when someone won EotS because it doesn't really happen with pugs.

At lvl 69 you can pretty much make or break an eots with boxing. Winning should be pretty doable unless the pugs run around like headless chickens. Ask the pugs to defend DR and MT (you're alliance right?) and rush FR or BET. Then you got 3 bases. Make sure the base you assaulted get capped and run to the base the horde controls if there are 5 horde or less. Try to cap it, if you lose an other base it doesn't matter, because you will cap BET so you got 3 bases again. This works better then trying to defend 3 bases is my experience, because you will lose one of the 3 very often because the pugs fail at defense. And you simply can't be at 3 places at once.

As far as twinking goes, i wowheaded a bit to see if you can actually twink an ele shaman at 69. But for a lot of slots the rare rewards you got from the HH chainquests are still the best options till 69. Got 6k health, only bought some 10 stam armor kits and 18 stam on shield to boost my HP and 350 Spell damage or so.

I got my first whiner yesterday. :D A 69 mage who's pvp for a week or so at that level now. Met him at lvl 65 or so before. He kept AoEing me and always came to me if he saw me to AoE. So every time i see him i pop a trinket and/or EM to oneshot him with 4 CL's. So know i told him that if he leaves me alone i let him be aswell. ^^

I was going to do the EOT grind at 69 too, but i was 68 this weekend and it was WOT weekend, so i was like there will be a ton of games on to get the double points. Boy was i wrong, every time i checked the que time it was at least 25 minutes and only 1 game active. So i was like ok maybe it is early that people will do it later. So i did some AV (i noticed that early AV, before 5 server time, is always a loss. After that time it is a 50/50) with only having a 5 minute wait time. Every time i came out and check EOT it was still 25 minutes and 1 game. I so was like screw this and started to lvl again. What i am doing is getting my guys to lvl 70 and just solo box my EOT, I'll probably just do it when i watch TV with the wife, cause i will be 1 shot because i have no pvp gear. I know the que times at lvl 70 are like almost instant.

I say if your que times are not close to 10 minutes i would get to 70 cause the ques are like 1 minute. You might your badges at the same rate, but at 70 you can do dailies and do arena too.

A buddy of mine ground out a bunch of honor at level 69 recently. I asked him about the queues and he said what we would do is be in 3 queues the whole time. He would queue for WSG and AB then AV. Usually the AV would come up first and he would go help kill Bailinda. By the time he had done this another queue was ready for him. So he was earning honor the whole time not just waiting around in Shat for AB or WSG queue to go off.

If you take a green and blue multibox team to eots lvl 70 it will really hurt the match. However, if you take that same team at level 69 you will turn the match in your favor. I ground 100 eots marks in 1 day at level 69. I won 34 games straight due to the power of focus fire multibox. Nobody has pvp gear at that level so they blow up easy. Once I turned 70 my nukes were scratching the pvp geared players as they destroy my guys in a few hits.

Get them at 69.

My recommendation is to get your AB/WSG marks at 69, and make EOTS your 3rd queue. You will find it harder to do WSG/AB at 70 when the opposition has full S4. Boxers bring a slight advantage to an EOTS game, they are a disadvantage in WSG/AB. IIRC, you get less honor in 60-69 AV than 70 AV so its not worth the time. Just get your AV marks/honor farming at 70.

This is what I did on my warlocks. I regret not maxing out my WSG marks at 69. It is PAINFUL trying to win a WSG at 70 when the opposing team can just run around you.

There is no 60-69 AV. There is only 51-60 and 61-70.
