View Full Version : Best horde city for multiboxers to NOT hang their followers up on corners? Also tightest trainer arrangement

I'm afraid my highest horde toon is 22 because I find horde cities really frustrating and confusing. Where do most people set their hearths? Are there any considerations that affect your decision when you have 4 toons? Obviously my druid has to hearth to thunder bluff, but where would you recommend setting up shop for the rest?

Not undercity... I lose followers every time I go near the bank steps

I got to Thunder Bluff and Silvermoon to just hang out, not too crowded =D

My hearth is always shattrath.

But Orgrimmar is my hang out spot, everything is nice and spaced out and the AH to Bank Mailbox distance is great, plus i like to show off a bit.

I generally get Shat as my hearth as soon as possible, but I never have problems in any of the Horde cities; just remember to take every corner and stairwell really wide ;)

The only place that screws me with following alts is Booty Bay. Why they put the stupid flight point where it is I'll never know...

Silvermoon,
once you know where everything is it is much nicer and less crowded than the other ones

pay a mage 5g in org to make a portal to shattrah, set all your alts to home at the scryer tier in shattrah. Because from shattrah you can quickly portal to any of the 4 horde cities. Lag in shatt can be a bit bad, but its a quick run from the scryer inn to the portals area.

Thunder bluff is my main town. It's the best town because everything is really close. You never have to travel far to reach trainers or the ah/bank. Just walk up the tower and your there. Unlike the other cities where you need to mount up and travel across town TB is great for multiboxers. The reagent vendor, ah, bank and repair are all in the main level. TB is never crowded and premade av works great at the BM.

On my all single class groups, I usually just go to Org. But on my PvE team (Mage, Druid, Shaman, Hunter, Paladin) I go to Silvermoon and Thunder Bluff mostly. (Silvermoon has most the trainers fairly close together. But alas, no Shaman trainer)
