I am going to set up a group for 5 boxing instances. I have a 70 raid geared pally tank and working on my shammies for dps ... what class would be the best healer to throw in the mix

Resto Shammy (once you hit heroics) otherwise the pally + 4x Ele Shammies seem to work quite well

So 4 shammy 1 pally is the way to go? I was ganna do 3 shammy 1 pally 1 druid but guess not

Well if you have horde, remember that training the druid is going to be a pita since they HAVE to go to a different city for training that doesn't have all the classes.

For training the druid - have it set hearthstone to the same city as the rest of your team.

Then when hearthstone is off cool down, trigger your teleport to moonglade.

You can get training in moonglade then hearth back to your team again. So shouldn't be too much of a pain.

It's even better if you have RAF... then you can summon the druid back to whereever you are.

Exactly, with RAF all you have to do is teleport moonglade. Then run around the corner and train and have the "friend" summon him back.

That is the setup I am working on atm. Pally tank,Druid healer and 3 Shaman dps. The Pally, Druid and Shaman are 70 and I decided to try and 5 box by adding two shammies. But my advice would be not to go druid unless you want it for other reasons outside of 5 boxing. I love my Druid but healing a 5 box is a pita because your "main" heals are hots which must be constantly stacked/reapplied. I would suggest another shammy for ease of leveling or a priest/paladin over a druid. When 5 boxing, you don't want to micro manage your dps or heals.
