Houndmaster Loksey

So, I'm a fairly new multiboxer (5 orc shaman - Tchak, Tchek, Tchik, Tchok, Tchuk on Deathwing), been doing it for about 2 weeks now, and I just got 32 tnonight and figured I'd take a stab at SM Lib. The trash mobs were easy, as usual, but the first boss, Houndmaster Loksey, destroyed me and did unspeakable things to my assorted corpses. I've tried a couple different tactics, but nothing seems to stick. I just can't handle him at the same time as all his dogs. I drop one dog right off the start, or I get Loksey himself down to about 75%, and a couple seconds later, I'm either down a couple drones, or healing full time. I didn't have this kind of trouble in Razorfen Kraul....should I just go elsewhere and come back in a couple levels?

Also, this site as a whole has been incredibly helpful in getting me on my feet as a multiboxer, so thanks to everyone who's put their knowledge up here for me to browse.

Take down Loskey first. Pop blood fury and start with L.bolt, then hit chain lightning, and finish with an earth shock. He should be dead or below 10%. Finish the dogs off with windfurys and crossheal yourself with lesser HW's.

Things that can help if you still have trouble: healing stream x5, stoneclaw x5 for the dogs if you do double lightning bolts instead of chain lightning on Loskey, and fire nova totem bombs.

What i did when i was leveling up my shamans was start off with a lb volley, immediately drop stoneclaw totems, kill the houndmaster making sure not to cl, then finish off the dogs. Don't underestimate the usefulness of stoneclaw totems, i still use them all the time in heroics, they will give you about 5-10 seconds of uninterrupted dps, should be enough time to down him.

Thanks guys. Turns out to have been a PEBKAC issue. I was hitting the button to drop assorted Earth totems, not 5x stoneclaw. Urrg.
