Hey Everyone,

Here is my problem. Im new to multi-boxing, I set up my shaman team a few days ago and while I am able to run 5 instances of wow on my mac book pro, things tend to get choppy. I have another mac on my desk that I would like to use for at least 2 of the instances to lighten the load on my MBP. I have been looking into options for broadcasting my keyboard over to the other mac but most of these solutions (teleport) only broadcast the keyboard when the mouse is on the screen. I would like to have my keyboard broadcasting to both macs at the same time. Does anyone know how I can go about this or if there is a better solution to using 2 macs?

Thanks for your help.

If I remember right I'm sure that there is a keyboard broadcast version of Synergy. I will see if I can dig out the URL.

I believe what your looking for is here:

http://mendax.org/2007/09/04/synergy-for-os-x-with-keystroke-broadcasting/

You only run that on the server. The clients just run a normal synergy install without the broadcasting.

I'm running 5 clients on a MBP (2.33mhz, ATI video). There were two things I had to do to get it to run smoothly so far. The first was to use windows (1440x900 or so) and stack them so I can only see one at a time (that part  ). The other thing I did was got a chill pad because my MBP would reach 160 degrees and would slow itself down to prevent meltage.

Thanks antishadow, after a little messing around with configuring synergy i finally got it to work. Let me just say, it works perfectly and is exactly what I was looking for.

and lol @ wetstreet... maybe i should consider a chill pad to prevent meltage, these things do get damn hot.
