I've made the break to do the whole RAF thing and found this price: $24.99

http://www.circuitcity.com/ssm/World-of-Warcraft-Battlechest-PC-020626726191/sem/rpsm/oid/193814/rpem/ccd/productDetail.do

Just thought I'd share with the community. :D

Also forgot the MS Live cash-back option for saving another 10%.

Look for the CircuitCity listing.

Thanks! I got a coworker to test out a trial a week ago (through my RAF! :)), and he's about due to upgrade but was reluctant to shell out $40.. this is perfect.

If you go into a circuit city they're marked at the $39 price. Just mention the online price and they'll match it. I did this to the one here and walked away with 4 battlechests for under $100.

I did the "order online and pickup in a store" option in which they pull and reserve your copies for pickup.

Pretty sweet setup imo.

Bump for those who might not have seen this deal as of yet :)

Ok, the CC deal appears to be dead, listing at 39.99 on the web page.

I can get a 29.99 online, from places like gogamer.com and such, but are there any big box type stores with deals going on right now?

I'm jumping into RAF multiboxing, going to spend some time this weekend setting up, my memory arrived last night. I commute past a number of the big box and game stores, and am about to leave for home.

Anyone?

Glad I picked at least one up the other day. I asked the saleperson if I could get the online price, and he started saying that I wouldn't be able to, since it was an online only special...but then another salesperson overheard that and said, "No, it should just automatically ring up at the online price." And sure enough, it did.

This was the same salesperson that assured me that my new monitor wouldn't need that DVI to VGA converter, because "We wouldn't even sell something that wouldn't work for everything right out of the box."

$29.99 at Barns & Nobles ('http://videogames.barnesandnoble.com/search/product.asp?r=1&EAN=20626726191&ourl=Video-game%2FWorld-of-Warcraft-Battlechest') ; that's the best price I can find currently.

barnes & noble you can only get that price online/shipped. The only software they have in store is Rosetta Stone, probably because they own Gamestop, which has it listed as 39.99

I have numerous places I can get 29.99 shipped, it's the brick and mortar I'm having a tough time on.

$9.99

.. why does that seem wrong?

Resellerratings.com ('http://www.resellerratings.com/store/OverStock_Dealz_Consumer_Depot') has some track record on them, some of the testimonials in the reviews seem to be buyer beware, they'll sell opened/used as new and duck behind "all sales are final"

And in other news, things that make you grunt "f***" under your breath.

Got off early yesterday, did some digging here and on the phone to find 29.99 battlechests at brick and mortar stores, no luck.

This morning I bought 4 chests from gogamer.com for 29.99 each literally 2 min before going to stores with wife and kids for errands.

So what do I see on sale in Target for 29.99 through Saturday? (today I would assume) *grumble*

Had I just not done that before leaving I'd be running install progs right now, as it is I have to wait.
