Hello Everyone,

I hope this is the relevant forums, it is more a question relating to the new RAF promotion blizzard are running, but is related to starting up multi-boxing.

I am totally new to these forums and to multiboxing itself - but with a little spare time this weekend it is something I wanted to try out. Playing around with 2 accounts on 2 machines (my desktop and laptop) has really intrigued me to try a bit more multi-boxing.

My question is to do with the Recruit-a-Friend promotion blizzard are doing. I want to send a referral and create another account, but am I able to create this account in my own name? I know technically it doesn't make any real difference, but just for my own peace of mind and the ability to possibly change characters around accounts in the future.

Has anybody had any experience with RAF in recruiting a second account in the same name as the original?

Thanks for your time!

Thanks for your time!Yes you can recruit yourself as a friend. In fact if you want to multibox you would be misled to think it doesn't matter. Playing on accounts with mismatched names has caused no end of trouble for some users.

Playing on accounts with mismatched names has caused no end of trouble for some users. Thanks very much for your quick response - and yeah, the trouble you mention is exactly what I wish to avoid. Cheers for the heads-up.
