I currently have 5 moonkins and for the most part this is working out great. However, at level 60 I go into Ramparts and realize I am not going to be able to get to the first boss.
It was recommended that I go 1 feral as tank, 1 restro and 3 boomkins. To be honest, I may not be as good as a lot of you in the forums are at boxing. The less different classes/specs for me the better. With this setup I would have to maintain aggro with the tank, maintain dps with the moonkins and keep up with healing as well. I am fairly confident while it may not be impossible for me to do it would be difficult. I do have a Pally I insta-leveled to 59 and can summon it to outland to do the hellfire quests to get gear. Would it be viable to have a pally tank and 4 moonkin (who can use rejuvination to heal)? I'm really new to druids and am still learning them.
Anyways, thanks for any feedback. Going to go ahead and get my pally to outland and get some gear for it in any case.

Well if you want to do 5-man instances in Outlands I'd say you def. need a dedicated tank and healer (at least at your level range).
What tank you go for is really up to you but a pally is a lot easier then a druid and having access to blessings does more for group synergy as well.
I don't recall if the hp quest rewards do offer any sort of tanking gear but getting your stamina up should be your first priority. If you're using any treat meter like omen it should be easy enough to not over-aggro with your druids.
I also recommend (since you haven't run a dedicated tank/healer group) to practice your macros in a lower lvl instance such as Strat e.g.

if you want to keep things simple get your pally tank geared up. to keep aggro pallys just need to consecrate, and an infinite (well, enough not to kill the pally :) set of mobs can be tanked this way. Warriors and druids have a lot more micro management to tank. Also with a pally tank you can blessing of salv your DPSers, especially if they outgear the pally.
There are some other threads on how best to gear up your pally quickly, you may wanna just focus on him for a few days, buy some gear in the AH, level him up so he's 1-2 levels above the rest of your team, etc. The quests in hfp/zanger do provide a lot of decent pally tank gear. Remember to focus on defense and stamina, and have one or two slots kitted out for spell damage (weapon, etc). I'd pick the defense trinket from the elite quest in hfp.

ramparts is hard due to the aggro drop of some of the mobs.
Cant remember the names of em but there are some that will punt yer tank for 10 or so yards and go after the next person on the list.
With a pali if yer get punted twice in a row someone gets beat into the ground.
with a pali its easier to keep aggro on 4+ critters but caster chew palis up pretty bad.
with a feral druid yeh end up with more hitpoints and its easier to heal but keeping aggro on 4+ critters is harder then a pali.
probably be a good idea speccing one resto and have another off heal until yeh get geared up or out level the instance by a level or 2.
You can do it with all moonkins but it'll be harder then with a dedicated tank/healer

Thanks for all the tips. I was quickly demoralized by trying a feral/moonkin/restro setup. Mainly due to having to micromanage the feral tanking. Having to spam buttons to keep whacking properly on a mob and also trying to throw off heals at the same time was a pain in the ass to me. I went ahead and spec'd them back to all Moonkin. What I may end up doing is using a pally in instances to help them get geared up a bit and see how it goes from there. A pally is pretty easy to manage (had one on several teams).

Does anyone have any all druid group tips? I dont have this same access to a paladin, and mine keep dying just trying to start VC (at level 21! how embarassing) (4boxing moonkins)
