Last night I managed to get my 3 shaman minions to level 65 and thought hmm I think I will have a bit of fun and try to accomplish a few objectives. So I head down to the Hellfire Penninsula and pick up the pvp object and rush off to try to take over all three places. I managed to easily take two of the objectibes from no horde really being around but when I went to the stadium things started to become interesting. I saw a priest with 3 warlocks in a tow. The warlocks where slightly higher then I was but the Priest was a Season 4 arena priest. I barely have season two healing set and a few pieces of t4-t5 so instead of outright facing me the priest whispers me on her alliance character greeting me and stating her love of boxing as well. So after about 10 seconds of chat she let me know that she wanted to oblitherate me. Being never whispered to by opposing team she has all of her minions bow at me then proceeds to rush in with the other 3 warlocks staying in a formation to start to dot up my main and focus fire shadowbolt volley. She fear bombs my team but placing tremors easily stops the fears after about a second. I use a nature heal on myself as I have an Oh crap heal button that always heals whomever is set to be focus.

I get a sequenced stun attack from felguards while one of my shaman gets burned down. I start focus chaining and bolting one of her alts as hitting her even with 3 elemental shaman was hard as pain supression popped up. A few quick purges and she fears me again while knocking down the totems I am placing up with quick dots from her alts. I am actually struggling to keep up and already had one of my guys down. I manage to focus one of her minions down before my level 70 (focus) goes down. After that it was a quick loss in the end. Ive never encountered another box team before that could manage to micro manage her minions so flawlessly focusing on my alts or me while playing her main to her full capibilities. I am now humbled by seeing a trully coordinated and multi tasked opponent and wonder can a shaman squad defeat 3-4 warlocks and a priest. between curse of tongues and several forms of CC it was an ungodly hard battle. I barely managed to get the priest down to 40% hp before we all were wiped but I have never had so much fun in a fight before since the old days of tarren mill raids checking out honor for the first time before BG's.

5x Sham > 4 locks and priest. Ask Reprisal that's how we met. I was alliance shams he was horde lockx4 priestx1... now we're both horde sham x5. When your shamans are under geared you will win if you get the jump on the locks or even a 4mage priest team. If they get the jump you will more than likely lose unless you have all your cooldowns. Once you are equally geared you should tear them apart.

How did you manage to overcome the curse of tongues? I had 3 out of my 4 character cursed and she was easily wanding the two totems that mattered the most consisting of tremor and grounding. She quite easily kept the curse of tongues on most of my characters while focus dotting each of them. I might have had a good chance if I was higher level but when I did use the oh crap natures swiftness heal she also had sequenced Coil fired off on my main. After that I pretty much died. The gear difference between her and myself though was quite substantial. She was strong enough to withstand 2 good rounds of lightning bolts and a chain..

You got outplayed it sounds like... Normally you won't run into people wanding ALL your totems, but sounds like they were setup with macros specifically for that. Curse of Tongues = shaman bane that's why you keep grounding down, if they were wanding your totems you should have had time to drop atleast 1 or 2 before the deathcoil train. (Ie. You wasted NS on a heal instead of doing a ES, LB,LB, NS EM CL combo). The gear and levels probably played the biggest role.
