Okay - So i have my brand new level 57 paladin (who i will ding 60 with the remainder of the raf levels in the next day or two).
I'm going to start my second raf team and decided that it might be fun to boost this new team, not with one of my 70's but with my new paladin.
I figure I wont have any difficulty doing so until perhaps scarlet monastery stage. It might even be possible to boost through SM quite quickly with this lowish levelled pally with smaller pulls.
He's prot specced and will have some outland greens at possibly a couple of blues at 60. Any paladins have experience of boosting with a 60 paladin instead of a 70?

Sorry - Please ignore the question.
I'm going to find out exactly how far I can go by just getting on and doing it. I realised that once he's 60 I will be gearing him up through quests and instance runs with my first team so his gear wont stay static.
I reckon I will be able to clear SM with reduced pulls - but if I find that I'm struggling to the point where it slows down, I'll swap out the hunter.
I ran my pally through RFC last night to get his defense and sword skills up. It was insanely quick Gathering so many mobs and letting them wipe themselves out was wonderful, I can't wait to burn through higher instances.

I am very interested in this as I am planning on taking a pally from 30 to 60 via RAF. Try to keep updates coming with what you were successful tanking and what not. Are you planning on leveling the pally to 70 then doing it?

My paladin will be boosting when he's not playing alongside my current raf group. I'll be gifting his final couple of levels then move him off on to one of my non RAF accounts so he can start boosting a new RAF team.
I'll try to give updates..... For the lower instances it will be how easy it was. For anything higher I will mention gear levels in general and stats and what troubles I encountered, and any solutions I found.
My initial defense and sword skill run gave me a taste for gathering up masses of mobs and laughing at them as they beat themselves to death on you (can only get better when I get a better shield and a shield spike).

This is exactly what i'm planning on doing... Let us know how it works out :)

Heh I coincidentally have a L60 pally on my main account and have been battling myself as to whether to splurge to add 3-4 RAF accounts, to be populated with shammies (for a first team).
I had a Blazing rapier made and enchanted with fiery, helped a lot. Also ran into Uther's Strength on the AH cheap and snagged it. Can't upgrade to the lichen shield for a while, so I'm on wall of the dead. Even with poor gear otherwise (lots of imperial plate) I am often running with 3-4 procs active between talents and gear, it's positively silly. Can't wait to get him up high enough to use the Diamond Sledge Mace from BF, first real spelldam pally weapon in outlands that I know of.
Anyone else have an enthusiasm to get a batch of RAFs to 60 and then wonder what the hell you'll do with them from then? I don't pvp and my time is limited, I could see having them take eons to go from 60-70 even after sprinting through 1-60.
Let us know how well the undergeared guy works (or even if boosting works with RAF anymore, some posts this morning hint otherwise)
