I just got my X-Keys Pro in the mail today and I'm trying to set up simple macros just to see how it's done. Then i'll get into more complex stuff. I have "/use 0 1" just to eat a piece of jerky. The macro works if I click on it, but if I hit the X-Key I programmed, it brings up the "/" chat window. What am I doing wrong? I am also assuming there's already a thread that covers this, but I couldn't find it by searching for it. If anyone can provide a link that would be great.
Thanks.

Can I assume you are putting the macro in the Xkeys configuration Program, Macroworks? You use Macroworks to programs the X-Keys with a single key. I cant remember of the top of my head but you should find the info in the manual. Once you have programmed the key, you make the macro in wow and bind that key to it.

It sounds like you have 'Enter' in the macro or on the XKeys. 'Enter' key is usually keybound (by WoW default) to open the chat window and then the macro is running. Just a thought...
