I did a quick search but didnt see anything... i don't know bout other people but i always have problems figuring what items to farm, main problem is i work like 70 hours and the spare time i have i play, not read bout gear:(
Ellay mentioned to me to get the idol of the void, so i been farming that the past couple days (and wiped due to stupid stuff like being outa range of a mini boss and bitching at keyclone:) WTF wont it cast! duh..)
Anyway.. was wondering if anyone has made a list of the easiest/most effective gear for each slot and what order to farm it in?

It's a bit out of date with the easy availability of S2 and Sunwell stuff now, but this thread should get you started: LW VS. "other gear avenues" (For Ele Shammy) ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=26490&highlight=leatherworking#post26490')
However, I would say that maxdps.com is a great place to start, just filter out the routes that aren't acheiveable for you and search by slot.

I was in the same boat, but unfortunately it appears that Bliz wants to force us all to PvP for gear. It's by far the quickest way to have a collection of characters geared at 70. The only downsides: no useful rep, no gold, no loot, no mats. But, it's a guarateed set of epics that you're working 5x as fast to get for your group. For me, 4 days of AV and EotS for 25k honor and marks to buy 5x S2 Caster 1HD Weapon. There's no comparison for a new level 70 character.. it's not practical (if even possible) to have a comparable main hand weapon 4 days into being a level 70 toon on all 5 characters. Running PvP BGs/Arenas is steadily gearing 5 characters at the same time, while instance running requires 5 drops that aren't guaranteed to all fall within 10-15 runs. I can't stand how easy it is to get PvP gear, and after doing it, I think the system is even more ridiculous. But we're forced to do it if we want to gear up as fast as possible once hitting 70.
The main exception is tanking - you'll have to quest/instance for the right drops, since much of the good tanking gear is boss drops or requires revered rep with a few factions.

Honestly, the only thing there is to farm at 70 that is an instance drop is the totem of void.
After you get the totem of void, its best to simply take your plunge into bgs, start your arena team and start dabbling in and around that area. My shamans currently have all the honor off sets and all of season 2 and season 4 chest. it comes to around 977 spell damage not including 55 from totem of void. Once you get a full set of season 2, its a simple walk in the park to go into heroics and start badge farming. You can do it a little earlier, however its a bit rough without having some durability from the pvp gear.

Yep. Once I got the S2 weapon, I took a run through OHB (easy) and BM (*not* easy - not enough dps), and that was enough to convince me to go back to the BG grind for the rest of the PvP gear. I even made my 5v5 team and quickly lost 10 matches while being massively outgeared. So much for arena "balancing" - 5 of my last 6 matches (rating ~1440 to ~1400) were all against the same ~1850 team in full S3/S4 gear. Oh well, I tried. Now, the debate comes down to creating a new 5v5 team every week to reset rating to 1500 or not. I'm thinking not - the extra 200g a week is better saved for 5x flying mounts I don't have yet, instead of an extra ~30-50 arena points.

^ this
After that it's pretty much BG/arena for honor/marks/pts or running heroics for badge goodness.
