Well, I started leveling 5 shamans last week (with the RAF), 1-60 is just a joke, but then the trouble started.
I went to outlands as 60, dinged 61 in Hellfire, 62 in Zangarmash and now 63 in Terokkar Forest. I have rarely skipped any quests and even did the most stupid collection quests like killing (& looting) 5x 30 nagas. What to do now? I am on 200K/650300 on the way to 64.
I kept getting my ass whooped in Ramparts & same in Underbog? ;( :S
I have to find something quick, because Nagrand mobs are level Level 64-67, which means I will fall more & more behind schedule when I keep going like this...
Any input would be appreciated.

You should be able to just blast through instances with that group, 4-6 hours a level. I started running BF at 64 with my group, just 4 with no tank, all cloth, still better xp than running around picking up the odd quest here and there and the collection quests.

The gear is more +damage than mail based (with staffs etc.), so melee attacks from high-hitting mobs ain't a good thing.
I will give it a try tomorrow  .

Even if it lowers your spell damage/spell crit, always have shields for your shamans for instances. The damage mitigation is far better then ~80 spell damage (assuming you have a really nice staff).

You definitely need shields on your shaman if instancing. That first boss hits hard.
That shield will mitigate a load of damage and give your slave shamans time to heal the one being beat upon.

I am just going to make a quick assumption here.
Raise your defense :P
Seeing as you got to lvl1-60 very fast, i doubt any of your shamans have a defense rating that is noticable. Otherwise you would never die so fast.
Even with 4 shamans i can burn down the Ramparts first boss down in no time at all. (at 62 when i did it)

They all have above 300 (of the 315) defense now, and I can actually survive something. Currently doing Blood Furnace and resetting when you go into the first boss room, reset and do it again. XP looks pretty good :). (When I came to outlands the defense was about 50-80, I rarely got hit by anything cause it was 1-shot and 2-shot on orange mobs :P .)

I'm going to have to check my shaman teams defense rating. I have been questing with them since 45 so at least one of them will have a decent rating, didn't even think of that.

My main has 244/280 defense at lvl 58, but my slaves all have about 190-200 so i think they could use a defense boost sense they almost never take any dmg.

Just make sure your toons back is faced to the mobs. Then they cannot dodge or parry, so u get more hits in. I went from 180 to 300 in like 15 min per toon at most.

I went there as 60, because I didn't even have TBC enabled when I hit 60... I didn't expect RAF to make it that easy.
Hellfire; Thrallmar, Mag'har, Spinebreaker Post, Falcon Watch.
Zangarmash; Swamprat Post, Cenarion Refuge, Zabra'Jin, Sporeggar (part, too many collections on some), The night elf that stands alone in the south-western part.
Terokar Forest; Cenarion Thicket, StoneBreaker Hold, The 2 camps arround the Auchindoun, The Undead & Orc that give you quests for Firewing Point & the orc which gives you the quest where you go into some orc camp disquised...
Please tell me what I forgot so that I can go back

Go back do the collection quests, it might be a pain, but if you skip all of them you will run out of quests and not gain enough XP so you will need to run instances extra to catch up on XP

I already did 90% of them, as I said ;o... I can go back and do the rest, but looking at the XP (wowhead) that I missed, that won't ding me to 64 even after all the instances that I have done today :S.

Really weird then. I am now 66 and i am not finished in Terrokar forest yet.
I did not do any auchiadon instances, i did 1 run in underbog, 1 in SP and several ramparts runs (like 5 or 6).
I only skipped 3 quests in total. Other then that i did every single one.
(i was lvl60 when i went into outland)

There are way, way more than enough quests in BC for someone to level to 70, even in a group of 5, with tons of quests to spare and doing no instances. I think you might be missing a lot of quests, honestly. Also, moving on to a new zone won't be that big of a deal because you got 5 guys. Those quests are almost all soloable with 1.

Looking at the level difference and the XP per quest that means I am like 60 quests behind 8|
I'm just gonna run true the 3 zones again and do whatever I can find. I don't wanna go Nagrand before 65, because I will keep running behind.

It depends on if you're horde or alliance, but I'll try to think of things you may have missed other than major quest zones:
-There's a named ray named King _____ (forget) in Zangar somewhere north above the area with all the starving tangled elementals in the SW. He drops a quest item.
-In Hellfire there's a named Arrakoa up above in that place in the SW of the zone. He also drops a quest.
-The Alliance can go do horde's mine quests north of Thrallmar. Not sure if Horde can do the Alliance's
-There's a bird escort way to the east of Auchindoun
-Sporeggar gives some new quests at friendly, I think
-Generally there are many, many quest hubs per zone. If you even missed one of them, that could be 10+ quests right there.
Ya, that is super weird. Myself, and friend just hit 62 last night, and we did that on the last quest available in Hellfire. Did you do all the group kill quests, all the collections, and everything?
We still have all of Zanga and all of Terrokar to do, and we are the same level as you are basically. 8|

Myself & a friend, as multiboxing or solo? because... I get like 130 XP / kill cause I am with 5, over the levels a huge difference if you are only 2.. I found a few collection quests that I skipped that will ding me 64, but then I am still 2 levels behind. :S

As a lone 70, i hit 70 in nagrand.
I hear some people complain about doing all the quests in outland and still being 69.
It all depends on how many mobs you kill BETWEEN quests and how many instances you do.
If you kill every mob between quest a and quest b then you'll level very fast.
If you mount up and run by to quest b, it will take you substantially longer.

I am currently in the same situation. I entered outlands at 60. I have done every quest that isnt collection is the first 3 zones and was at 300k in to 63. Once you hit 64 you are laughing because even with regular leveling you can skil BEM and SMV and still hit 70 from quest, so more then enough to box with. I have been running BF and killing first boss over an dover, one he drops a shammy belt and main hand so its two birds with one stone. i have 4 shammys and am having no trouble with the trash or the boss.
You did all the "group" quests, and all the collections? There are quite a few long chains that have collections in them, but are easily 30-50k due to the number of turns ins for just the one quest chain alone.
Or the ones you find such as the quest that starts around where you have to kill taskmasters to free the slaves in Hellfire Penn. Guy in the back asks you to get a key, 10k, free his people, 10k, kill the boss, 10k. Took about 10 minutes or so.

A bit of an obvious point and given your leveling speed probably not what you want to read, but rested XP is your friend. I went to HFP at 58 with my team of five pre-RAF. Ran Ramparts, BF, UB, SP once each and am about to ding 66 four or five quests into Nagrand. No grinding, only a couple of daily PVP turn-ins along the way, but always rested XP bonus.
