My monitor is 1920x1200
I play 4 accounts
I've been running with three 534x400 "windows" along the side, and one larger one for my main. This has presented some undesireable issues so I want to see if I prefer 4 eqal sized "windows" in maximizer.
I'd be setting the regions to 960x600.
My questions:
1. Does it matter what I set the resolution to in WoW's video options so long as it is the correct ratio in terms of performance? I know that now when I shift one of the smaller screens to my main/larger region, there is at least several seconds of disconbobulation until it is adjusted and playable. What I mean by performance is being able to quickly/seamlessly shift focus on the different screens. Will 4 same-size improve that?
2. Obvisously I won't need to switch the regions with the PiP thing, but I will be using focus follows mouse if it will work better. Will having 4 equal sized windows improve the performance of this?
3. Now I have each region mapped to a key, F9, F10, F11, F12 - this brings that account to the main larger region. What I might like better than focus follows mouse is to just manually control which of the 4 screens has the focus with the Function keys - my reasoning is that it may be faster under some circumstances than double clicking, and focus follows mouse may cause me too much grief with accidental mouse wanderings changing the focus. I'm thinking my best option may be positive control. Anywho, is this possible, if so, how?
4. I'm at work, and can't remember, if there is no 960x600 resolution option in WoW's video options, is there a way to add it? How?
Thanks,
