Seems that my server in particular hates boxers. People hate what they don't understand I guess :P

That's really weird. I don't think I've gotten that much hate on Daggerspine. There are a few of us on there though, so it's a bit more high profile being a boxer, but usually people are pretty cool. I've been super nice to folks on Daggerspine - handing out buffs and drive-by heals and whatnot to try to keep the PR up.
BTW, watch your back Monk. I saw the first Ally multiboxer on our server. 5 mages. AOE death for sure. They were lvl 62 doing the Shattrath Tour quest.

I was reported on Azgalor 3 times last week which was my first week:)
There is only 1 other boxer that I have seen.

I've been doing the same on Shadowsong EU and it's working,
there are more and more people hugging me every day as soon as I enter Shattrath.

The best way to deal with these people is to be very cute and nice to them in response, untill they get so pissed off that they do actually say something bad enough to get a time out from the gm's, then report them ;)
It's my second favourite hobby, after boxing. Get someone nerd raged enough, and if they are stupid, as most of these moaners are, they are going to resort to the racial or gay card, and blizz dont take lightly to either, or so my exp on the eu servers with reporting them has shown.

I don't get them too often, but it's really fun to get them sometimes - especially when the person insulting me can't spell. ;)

This is from my first group, I thought it was funny. I rolled this alliance guy and he was pissed! The best part a week later in EPL I caught him using some kind of botting program, wasn't long before he was banned. I strolled up to him and he didn't respond to anything. I started tagging his mobs and soon realized he was cheating lol.

For the most part people are pretty cool about boxers on Destromath. We have 3 5boxers (Zite & Deph), a 4boxer, a 3boxer (myself), and 2 2boxers on Horde. Plus I've seen at least one alliance 5boxer, can't remember their names tho lol I mean, I get the random people following me around and such so I usually spread out in formation and /dance or use one of my showoff macros. I'm kinda mad that ppl aren't going "WTF! HAXORS!" or something  I think it makes it a ton more fun hehe

I had a nice conversation with someone just now ..
Him: Cheater !
Me: It's allowed, so stop calling it cheating.
Him: You still suck ! ^^
Me: Ok
Then he started showing off all his epix using closetgnome or a similar addon ..
Alot of morons out there ..

oddly enough everyone seems to love me and my clones on shadowsongYeah, its the same for me on korgath with my 5box team. People are always interested in whats going on. But never mean. Once i hit my spread-out button and my dance macro, it's all smiles in org. About the worst i've heard from anyone is what a waste of money it is. But in the grand scheme of things, thats not bad at all.

Life is generally good for my 4 shaman on EU-Sylvanas. A lot of people asking me how it's done, and wishing me good luck after I explain the general principal. Although I had this one level 70 druid /follow my leader, and oneshotting everything I tried to kill, all this while spamming /s n00b!.

I started dual boxing the other day with the RAF feature, and so far it hasn't been too bad for me. I had one guy stop and chat with me about it, and another person go "WTF? Why two accounts?" My favorite thing by far though is when someone just stops, and turns to watch you go by. I couldn't imagine what it'd be like if I had 5 going at once...
Two things I don't get about it though (with dual boxing) are:
1) Why couldn't it be me and a friend playing together?
2) I'm leveling way, way faster than they are, so I actually play less then they do, yet I'm the stupid one. *shrugs* (This would be especially true if I could 5 box, which means I could run instances by myself, and not have to wait for groups...that's the dream for me...)
I still enjoy the screenshots though.

I had my first weird encounter yesterday. A level 20-something toon with a level 68 pally on follow asking me how much a power-leveled toon would cost.

I had 4 20's and my 70 sitting out the front of the Stockades in Stormwind. They are hunters, all with the same name and same pet.
Someone ran out of the instance, paused, backed up and stood there for a second. Then in /say he said wow, why are there so many.
My hunters are still unguilded (my main is guilded), so I said "Wow, I didn't realise, must have a cloning machine".
He thought for a sec, and replied "I want a cloning machine!".
Apart from stupid 70 in the starting area who griefed me by tagging every mob I was standing near, that's really been the only interaction, because both of my teams have been running instance loops.
I can't wait to get out into the real world though. Sound like fun. I haven't seen any other multiboxers alliance side on the Caelestrasz server.

there are alot of different comments i get when i dual box..id hate to see if i was doing it with 4 or 5 -_-...like this rogue that passed me
Rogue: you suck
me: um what?
Rogue: you suck at life. its not fair you can bot and lvl like that while i have to lvl by myself
me:you can do this too
rogue: you have no life. get a girlfriend
me: im sorry but i think my husband would get sad if i went and got a girlfriend right now :P
most of the time they tell me im a loser and that i need to get a girlfriend
i tell them they are just mad that i play this game more efficiently then they do :P

There may be hope for some of them yet. Just gotta be patient with most people. Ended up having a decent convo with this guy, he felt kind of embarrassed in retrospect to come off as a jerk. ^^

I play with my 4 drones on a second monitor, quartered with Maximizer. I hit camera flip on one of them when I'm traveling, to use as a rear view mirror, and I get people doing double takes a LOT. Sometimes I encourage it by stringing my boys (5 orc shaman) in a chain. #5 follows #4, follows #3, etc.
Though so far, everyone's been nice. The only negative input I've gotten has been one comment about the expense, and a couple alliance /spit on me, which doesn't bother me. I just smash them into nonexistence (which I woulda done anyway) and move on.

I have not had many comments with my 5 boxing other than one guy saying that for a second he thought I was outriders. I can imagine folks think I am either a Caravan or the Outriders.
One person in Hinter ran by and yelled cheater and that was it. I have talked to a fair amount of people who were interested but not many negative responses. Quite honestly if they do start coming in I just won't acknowledge them.
I do got out of my way to be pleasent but than again I am like that in game anyways. I will not over crowd a solo farmer and will usually let them finish up first or give them dibs on many of the mobs.

I've been multiboxing on Uldaman for about 2 years. I've never once received anything from any Game Masters (GMs) nor received any email about any warning or ban. I have on a few occasions been told by players to 'Watch it' or 'so-and-so has reported you for botting' which most players don't know the difference between boxxing and botting. On the current realm that I am multiboxing shaman, I've been told many times by several players that I could get into trouble for having multiple accounts. The problem is that many players don't understand that boxxing is fine as long as you're at your keyboard hitting keystrokes controlling your characters. Boxxing doesn't mean botting. Botting means that there is some automation of a character happening where you're not at your keyboard. The makers of World of Warcraft don't like that. As long as you're at your keyboard controller your character(s), you're fine.
When a GM receives a report about someone, they will look into it, but when they find that you're boxxing, they will leave it at that. Boxxing multiple characters is fine.

lol, i even ticketed the gm telling them i'm multi-boxing before i started pvp'ing
in the ticket, i said i figured i was going to be reported a lot, so wanted to give them a heads up

I suggest to report the verbal harassment, because wishing someone dead is very likely to be against the Terms Of Service.

Was questing in WPL yesterday, helping some guildies.
Burned down the Scarlet front command tent (or whatever it's called) and raised the flag, ran back to the bulwark to hand in and realised my slaves hadn't completed it as they all needed to raise the flags.
So I run all the way back there and just before I arrive I pass some mage who has something against multiboxers. Que the abuse, when I get to the quest area (the mage was on the same quest by the looks of it) I agro all the guys and start to kill them, but realise the mage is going to try burn down the tent. Not waiting to wait for it to respawn, considering I'm doing the clearing, I run in with one of my slaves and burn it down. Que more abuse about being a wanker, jizzbag, etc. Apparently I'm not allowed to do quests before others, even if I do all the clearing.
He just gets the normal polite response.
Few minutes later an idiot who was in one of the same areas as me when I was around 20 pipes up "lol wut is with that guy and his shammys" and then the debate over "why waste money multiboxing" started. Got a bit sick of it so I started going at him with the multiboxing hate bandwagon thing. His reason for hating multiboxers = " ". Yep, nothing.
Some people are pathetic. Jump on the bandwagon but dont like it when it turns out we have our own opinion.
The best way to deal with these people is to be very cute and nice to them in response, untill they get so pissed off that they do actually say something bad enough to get a time out from the gm's, then report them
Hell yea! I completely agree and do the same thing. I act nice to them and sometimes they either "act" nice back or just leave me alone. I must say that I love the random tells from people saying "by the way, I just reported you lololol". I just laugh and tell them I'm dying to chat with a GM. Despite the fact that I've been reported multiple times, I have yet to chat with a GM.

I just got a email from them saying we can't discuss this in email, contact us again. I gave up after that. If they wanna chat with me, I'd me more than happy to.

Anyone else noticed that when some peoples ask "omg wtf is that?" , ALWAYS some random-70 comes and whines "Multiboxing. He is spending 150e in a month to computer-game" or similiar? (though real cost with 4 shamans and RAF is like 37e)

Multiboxing is extremely common on my server. And our top rated raider ( he also happens to be my best friend ) has two shammies, so we don't get too many whines about it. The only response I get is: "OMG cool, twins!" People love seeing my baby mage and shammy running around. I even tagged a mob someone was going after on accident, ( can't see very much when you have two wows! ) I apologized quickly after I noticed him, and helped him take down another mob as repayment. He didn't say one word against me, but launched a conversation asking me if multiboxing is hard.
People on my server have a healthy respect and curiosity about multiboxing, especially when i tell them that i am all manual. I have even gotten instance groups for the twins, and i let them know that i am both the mage and the shaman, and am new to the whole thing, and they have no issues with taking it slow.
One plus to multiboxing: if someone is trashing your friends, you reply to them, they ignore you, pop over to thing 2 and lol as they get angrier.
Had a whisper yesterday, no SS though :(
Him: WTF, what is that?
Me: Multiboxing
Him: ?
Me: dual-boxing.com
Him: F**** cheater, reported you !
Me: First you ask me what im doing, then you afterwards tell me its not allowed? Did you read the Terms after i told you i was multiboxing? Oo
I had a good laugh. Getting alot of whisper from people who want to report me, because they dont know what im doing... tsk tsk
