I finally got my chars up ad running last night on my server, and by my other post you could tellI had some issues with trying to pay for KeyClone.
So I made a post asking for suggestions of what I may have done wrong.
And then right as I'm ready to log out and give up for the night keyclone calls me to offer me some assistance.

Within minutes he was able to fix my license to keyclone!

So then the fun part. He then begins to explain how to do the basics making all the chars talk at same time,jump,target assist,follow. And he did while putting them into pretty much mediocre lamens terms.

Keyclone is an absolute GENE-YUSS (thats how we say it in the sticks here). I would recommend his program to anyone thatis interested in multi-boxing. I know i was getting ready to shell out about another 5 grand on monitors and hardware, but after this software I dont think I will have to. So this system works great! And last time i checked $10 was cheaper than a few grand. So if your looking to multibox and you dont have the money to throw around I suggest you buy a licensed copy of keyclone.

And thanks for the tutorial last night keyclone you were more than helpful.

I was using autohotkey for a while and it was beginning to annoy me all the scripting i did on a daily basis just to add one hotkey.

Whipped out the credit card and payed my $10 and it was the best decision ever, and i notice its not as laggy as autohotkey between windows which is great.

Next port of call (Go back to windows xp) maximizer doesn't work with vista :(

keyclone's maximizer doesn't work with vista?? nuts... will have to test that (and find a vista box again...)

Maximizer worked fine on my vista desktop but not my vista laptop (I'm 99% sure, I'll confirm tonight).

I think it may key off the resolution not being a native resolution to WoW... I have my wow setup to run 800x600 window mode on my laptop, of course maximizer in KeyClone tries to set it to 1/4th my 1680x1050 screen, which isn't quite 800x600.

what happens when it doesn't work? for me, it just resizes the windows and places the clones into their appropriate regions... but that's most xp, not vista

Actually I got 1: Does it come with a default setup, supporting at least the keys of a standard QWERTY keyboard?

As the WAR beta is closing as of tomorrow I'm considering starting up with multiboxing a full party in some free MMO - possibly a free WoW server, but still undecided.

Oh and a suggestion (if it's not alrdy in): G15 support. I'm thinking the LCD showing what games are receiving keystrokes on what boxes, and a configuration for the G-keys that'll let you send to single instances based on what set you've chosen (M1, M2, or M3 - could be done manually by changing what modifiers you assign along with keypresses, but really it'd be much easier if you did it for me :P ).

by default, once you add your program to keyclone (ie: wow.exe)... every key you type into one will be sent at the same time to the others.

so... if you hit spacebar to jump and you had 5 characters in keyclone, they would all jump. there is nothing more you need to do to get the basics up and running. keymaps, do-not-pass, mouse-mapping, and round-robin are all on top of the basic functionality.
