Hey whats up guys long time.

Im thinking about ditching 2 of my shammies and starting up 3 new accounts. I would do 3 locks, all RAF to my main account with a BT geared prot pally for SM farming also a frost mage if i feel like it. I'd level them up while gifting levels to a 4th lock on my main account.

SO, I figure 4 locks would be pretty beast huh.. I guess I should add I'd mainly use them for farming or whatever. I pretty much like to pvp and just make gold. I figure I could just run around and dot everything in sight.

Any ideas/comments?

With 4 shammys you can do things you cannot do with 4 locks.

Shammys are most popular for a reason :)

Can doa lot more with shaman - heroic instances, arenas, etc.

However, warlocks are definitely fun in world pvp, bg's, and for farming. The dots are brutal. With my group, in crap gear, I can kill almost anything with just 2 sets of dots if they don't bubble or heal. With all 4 dots cast, it's over. Being able to do damage on multiple targets at once is another nice benefit. Works equally well in farming - you can pull a dozen mobs at once. Or, with siphon life and 4 warlocks I imagine you could pull forever with life tap.

Really depends on what you wanna do and your play style.

I just started up a group of 5 warlocks. I haven't bothered to train yet (having too much fun) but I still 1 (er...5) shot everything with my rank 1 shadowbolt and imp's fireball.

I'll look into the 4 shammans, 1 tank or maybe 5 shamans if I start to get bored of my 3 click killers.

If you havn't done 5 shams yet, i would recommend it first.. the power is insane, survivability is great and you can clear instances fairly easy:) i made 5 locsk and got them to 10, not a big fan yet.. but im sure it would get better.. made 5 druids next and love it so far:) Am considering 1 pally 4 boomkins... for instance fun

I tried doing 5 warlocks and leveled them to 8 and bought them all wands, I don't even have to use any spell, just wand. No downtime at all so no worries about food and drinks but
it was more fun at level 15 to use instant corruption and CoA on 20 mobs while running around like a madman.
When I get my 5 shamans to 70 and gear them up I will make 5 warlocks and make them 70 when WotLK comes, then specc demonolgy and have 5 demon form(?) warlocks running around tearing up everything.

I'm doing 4 warlocks.

Just hit AV this past weekend. Even at level 55, I was up near the top. Of course at these levels, nobody can CoS out of the dots or anything like that. At 60 with outlands gear I was putting 3-4 guys up near the top of the chart. I might have done better but we were starting each round down 40 to 20, so I was getting overrun pretty easily.

Seed of Corruption beckons me. My plans are tons of AV, and to create havoc on sunwell.

Shaman cure one of the biggest problems: fear bomb. Getting your guys scattered is a real pain. Not being able to heal easily is also bad, because you're guys won't take damage evenly.

I think the ultimate solution is to pick up a partner to play a resto shaman.

See, I already have 3 shamans. If I were to go the bother of levelling just 1, I'd rather do up an entire group so its a little easier/more fun. Another reason I want locks is because the shamans are limited in what they can farm. I can't take them up to ele plateau and kill the airs, just the fires. WIth locks, I could go in a big circle like I do with my hunter/mage dualboxing. I would probably do a few battlegrounds here and there for a couple pieces of gear though, so I"d probably just spam seed of corruption on ppl? I only played a lock to lvl 30 or so.

Worst part about leveling up locks? Pets that constantly fall behind.

I am so glad I got mounts at 30 because it would have made me quit to go another 10 levels. I had leveled up a warlock way back pre-bc and he was once my main (back then you didn't even get your shard back, and you had your demon out even when mounted). I thought I had mentally prepared myself to be exasperated, but I was just barely able to make it to 30.

Honestly, if I was outside an instance I didn't even bother using any demons up to this point.

4 warlocks + priest seems to work pretty well for me so far since I always have a soulstone for the priest :)
