Hello Everyone,

First time on this forum, when I first started dual boxing back in 2006, there wasn't a place like this. I have a 70 rogue and 70 holy priest atm, and is part of a raiding guild. Currently I'm trying to lvl up a feral druid for tanking heroics dual boxing. My question is, my holy priest is the one that is boosting, what is the best way? Should I:
A. Instance runs, my holy priest don't do much DPS so i'm not sure how good that is
B. Healbot, keep healing my druid as he grinds his way and earning full exp without down time
C. Healbot/Questing- do time consuming quests for my druid, but get massive exp?

I would love to hear your thoughts on this matter.

Thanks,
Viki

I have been lvling my 20+ Pally with my 70 Holy priest on my 2nd account and let me tell you, it is rough. I still think Paladins are best for instance boosting and Druids are best for grinding/leveling with Imp Thorns but a priest is what I had to work with. I basically tried instance boosting but my poor damage output from Holy Nova kept me to the first few instances. Afterwords it was a combination of B and C. If you are leveling a druid, I would say go for Feral + Imp Thorns. Grinding with 20dmg thorns makes a big difference. Pull large packs of mobs that hit fast (dual wielders, cats, etc) and keep the druid healed as he hits each mob once, debuffs their AP with shout, and then just fight until they are all dead. This is how I have been grinding my pally. Consecrate + Imp Ret Aura and pull 4-5 mobs at once. It is faster than 1 on 1 but the priest is not quite as good as some others for boosting. Once your druid gets to 70 though, you will be able to take down elites and some instances with your massive heals and awesome tankage. if you have further questions, let me know and I will be glad to help!

By the way, my icon is of my shadow priest with Imp Thorns grinding dual-wielding ogres. As you can see, you can pull nice packs and just destroy them quickly with that damage reflection. This will be even better with the HP/AC of your Druid!

Go for questing with priest backing up. You can boost instances up to SM GY easily, after those questing would be the best i think.

Maybe the boosting isn't even worth it and plain questing is the fastest.

Yea you do have to be groups for PW:S. The damage reflection that I was speaking of is the Imp. Thorns, not from the shield, sorry.

Thank you for your response, I have noticed that questing/grinding is easier at times. I have so much fun at times simply grabbing about 10-15 mobs and through a renew on my druid and watch as he shout/taunt/swipe 3 and have thorn kill everything else. It is a lot of fun at times.

I'm now using my 70 rogue to level up a mage in hope of grabbing the best rested exp I can, alternating between my druid and mage.

By the way any dual boxer please feel free to contact me at Viki, Vikii, Vikil, Vikill at Doomhammer.

My question is, where is there alot of mobs which don't run away and attacks fast like rogues without any special abilities, and is simply melee so I can take advantage of everything.

Cats are available in barrens up to lvl 15 or so...in TM at around lvl 20-23...STV there are cats between 30 and 36 or so...dual wielding or unarmed undead are great too in EPL/WPL. Dual wielding ogres or humans are great as well by Tanaris in the 40s.
