All,

I want to start off by saying Thank You to everyone on this forum. I have managed to find so much info reading the forums and the wiki. You have save me hours of pain and frustration in setting up and understanding what my options are. I hope that I will be able to contribute to this site and give back in my own way.

Now a little about myself. I've only been playing for a year and a half if you don't count the two months back in the patch 1.3 days. In that time I've leveled a belf lock and a tauren druid to 70 and have to many alts to list. I raided on my lock up to mid T5 content before switching to my druid and bear tanked through all fights in T5. Unfortunately I missed out on my Kael vial before having to take a break from the game.

With the RAF bonus, I decided I would come back but I wanted something new and exciting from the game, so I decided to five box. For the past week I've been working on a team of five draenei (1 paly + 4 shammy ). I started them all at the same time and have gotten them to 40 as of last night with around 2 days and 6 hours playtime. A good deal of the time was testing macros and generally getting a feel for two classes I have never played beyond the mid twenties.

So far I'm loving it. This has to be one of the most interesting and challenging things I've ever done in a game. I'm constantly amazed at how things I used to take for granted such as a simple pull become something new and different when I'm handling an entire party. The game also feels new as well. Before I always felt that the skill was being able to put up with the grind, but now it's more about coming up with inventive and effective ways of accomplishing things.

I hope to become active in the forums and share what I figure out with others. Eventually I'd like to start writing addons as well.

Thanks again for the great site,
Souca

Welcome aboard....and wait till you get higher and realize the joy of never having to LFG for an instance :thumbsup:I'm already enjoying that. I did Deadmines around 20 or so, and it was really painful because of all the coordination, but I learned a great deal of things and have gotten better from that. Since then I've been sticking to quests since they give better xp with the RAF multiplier. I did clear SM Library last night without a single death and figured a few new things out along the way. I plan on hitting Armory and Cath tonight, but I don't think I'm gonna do anymore instances until Outlands.

Read the guides here: http://dual-boxing.com/wiki/index.php/Guides#Basic_Start-up_Guides

Also, you can check out my guides ('http://vboxing.net/v/index.php?q=taxonomy/term/4'), particularly my video guide ('http://vboxing.net/v/index.php?q=node/87').

Vyn's videos and her guides and stuff rock! Listen to Vyn and some of the others here they will not lead you wrong.

And nice Fish Tank Vyn must be a b!tch to keep it clean. And I'm sure people where not looking at the fish tank bellow your bed lol. That 10g one is nice, wish I had the patience it takes to keep one of those.

I just started as well and love it so far, just dual boxing for the moment, will probably move up to 3-box this week as I am comfortable now with the system.
