As per Subject Line, Open Beta begins Sept 7! A free chance to test out Multiboxing WAR for all who are interested in trying before buying!

I really enjoy this game. It's new. It's fun. Public Quests are a very interesting concept. Public Quests in RvR areas are just downright dirty. There will never be a shortage of World PvP because of these types of quests. Classes seem pretty balanced early on (lvls 1-10). I've killed and been killed by everything so far, including 1v1 situations.

I'll make a new thread later on with an AHK and HKN multiboxing script example.

very interesting. I am wanting to box 5 however I need to know if keyclone will work.

How many are you boxing and what are your system specs?

How is the preformance?

Not to be a party pooper and forgive me if this is already known but didn't WAR have an NDA? When was that set to expire?

I haven't talked about anything that hasn't already been released via EA's Marketting department.

Public quests have been common game knowledge for a couple years. The classes I listed are all on Mythic's Website. As I mentioned, Multiboxing feasability of the classes is conjecture. The limitations of using such software with WAR is not limited to WAR, but any game using WAR's DAoC style of accepting Input.

I've removed the sentence regarding Buff Bots, as that may breech NDA.

I'll remove the details about Multiboxing WAR if it breeches NDA, but I don't think it does.

The Beta NDA:

Closed beta tests are confidential. The beta games, including information about features and functionality to be offered as part of the games, are confidential. If you participate in a closed beta test, you will use your best efforts to safeguard and to prevent unauthorized access to, copying, disclosure, and unauthorized use of the beta games. You will carry out the testing personally and not provide access to beta games to any other person. You agree that breach of the above confidentiality obligations will cause irreparable harm to EA, and EA is entitled to (in addition to any other remedies available to it) ex parte injunctive relief without bond to prevent the breach or threatened breach of your obligations. Your obligation to keep the beta games confidential will continue until EA publicly distributes, or has otherwise disclosed to the public through no fault of yours, each of the games and the content that you are testing.

Well, just to be on the safe side, I've removed the majority of my original post.

Can you answer my questions about the spec on your computer and how your setup is then?

So when the NDA is lifted, can you tell us about the buffbots? I'm leaning towards the warrior-priest and some buffbot class.

I just want to know if its actually going to be possible to multibox WAR via a software solution tbh xD

Just based on the fact that the game includes /follow and /assist (both features documented), you can assume Software Multiplexing will be viable. DAoC was software boxable. WAR most likely uses the same method of Keystroke Input.

Its not very resource intensive if you want to run minimum settings, I was running it on a 3 yr old system but every class has amazing spell casting effects, you really will see a different world in full detail.

As for the game, amazing thus far. I suggest you finish getting your RAF accounts to 60 before you go to Beta as I have been unable to go back to wow.
