Hi all,

I have been using my toon names in all of my macros and am finding this is very cumbersome (especially since I will have several new mains now THANKS RAF!). I have been converting my macros to /assist attack based on focus which seems to be much easier. However, I use something like this:

(copied from wiki since i am not home right now)
/target [target=Šaria, nodead] [target=Šixx, nodead] [target=Šuxx, nodead] [target=Šexx, nodead] [target=Šaxx, nodead]
/assist target

I read a lot of the wiki/forum posts and while I did find information that discusses using party1 for the leader it doesn't go into a lot about using party2, party3, etc. Can I replace my current toon names with the appropriate party(#) and use that instead of toon names? This would sure make it a lot easier to drop in various toons as needed and also make it really easy to get initial macro setup for a new team. With RAF I plan on leveling several teams and if this method works would like to use it. Anyone doing this?

Yeah, you could do something like:

/target [target=party1target, nodead].....

except on your main. Unfortunately, party1 for the main is not you, it's who you'd think party2 would be, and this messes up the macro. It's not a huge deal as long as you're willing to re-click your mouse on the target after you hit this.

Personally, I'm not a fan of the "target the first guy who's alive" approach, since I like knowing exactly who the main is, not who just happened to be next in the macro/party? order. I go further into that more here ('http://www.dual-boxing.com/forums/index.php?page=Thread&postID=102953&highlight=#post102953') if you're interested.
