It's a lot of fun but my 411 spell dmg and 4k hp don't cut it just yet :) Mages(aoe) and rogues completely owned me.
I am getting really good with keyboard turning on my guys (I am not really used to keyboard turning since i've been using the mouse for like 2 years now).
Next week I hope to get a few pieces of S2 and start 5v5

Grats.
It's going to be painful for awhile..... Still hurts quite a bit for me, I'm at 170 resil, 8k hp and 600 spell dmg and anyone with gear can plow through a few of my toons before I get a kill

I like rolling heroisms, i pretty much have it up 100% during encounters.
Funny how if we win games they go "YAY MULTIBOXER" but if we lose it's "WE lose because of the newb multiboxer", "BLAME MULTIBOXER" etc.
Congrats.
Yeah, if it's not going well it's always my fault, yet my team mates have stood next to me on their horse watching me get slaughtered then blaming me for multiboxing in the BG, LOL.
Check out the pvp blues from the various rep vendors. Looks like you can get at least two pieces right away (honored Thrallmar and Cenarion), they'll be good for boosting your resilience right away in BG's. A few farming runs in Mechanar for your Totem of the Void would get you a third piece from Sha'tar (kicksome has a great totem farming tutorial video linked on this site).
Here's the pvp blues set:

You're gear is very close to what I had when I dinged 70 as well. :) Talkbuk weapon, chestpiece, bracer, lol. Brings back memories. :)
Rogues...I drop 5 magmas immediately, that helps a lot.

I don't want to be an ass, but why the hell would you buy the shoulders before the mainhand?
You're in my battlegroup too, so I guess that's pretty cool, but c'mon, the shoulders first? ... seriously..

I do the same damn thing. Shoulders are such a large visual part, it's hard to resist. Plus it takes 20 Eye of the SUCK marks for the weapon, and 20 ABheaven marks for the shoulders. Id actually pick up the shield before the weapon, 5k armor is damn nice when you're just trying to survive.
gonna grind it all out anyway, so who cares about the order in which you get em?

Well I had cloth shoulders ... also it's the most noticable piece that doesn't scream out "HEY THAT GUY HAS GREENS", more like "HEY THAT GUY IS IN S2"
After grinding out all the honor equipment i'll need I gotta say it doesn't really matter which order he purchases his stuff. He'll get it all anyway, and it's just BG's, he's not competiting in arena's yet. If he was trying to compete in arenas, then i'd have to agree that the shoulders were a terrible first purchase. Shoulders have the lowest stats, they are simply there for looks. I actualy held off on purchasing my shoulders until after I had my s2 chest and enough arena points to get 2 pieces of s4, so I could get the 4 piece bonus. So it took me a few weeks before I bought them.
When i dinged 70 I had 2 pieces of the blue elemental set and 2 pieces of the resto set along with tier 1 engineering googles. Then the grind.
The order I made my purchases:
S2 weapon
S2 shield
S4 Gloves (arena pts)
S4 Belt
Cloak of Subjugated Power (badges)
S2 Boots (badges)
S2 Chest
S4 Necklace
Battle Master's Audacity (badges)
Icon of the Silver Crest (badges)
S4 Bracer
S4 Legs
S2 Shoulders
s4 ring
Totem of the void (mech farming)
S3 ring
45 resil trink
S4 boots
As the Tier 2 Engineering goggles became available I purchased them for each of my guys.
Next up grades are all via arena points:
S4 Chest
S4 Weapon
S4 Shield
S4 Shoulders
In the end it isn't going to matter...I went with whatever gave me the biggest +spell damage upgrade first...s2 weapon. With 5 it added +1000 bonus damage as a group which helped with my Totem of the Void farming as well as better damage in BG's. Since then I've alternated with whatever was best with what I liked visually and shoulders were high on my list too. :)

It does matter. That's 200+ more spell damage per shaman. As a 4boxer you'll be adding over 1000 damage per cast -coefficients.
You'll up your damage per spell by a ton, and it will be such a good upgrade you'll have almost twice the killing power at that gear level (first upgrade from outlands leveling). As a multiboxer it's even more important to upgrade that piece first over any other. Toss on a 40 damage chant on all of them right away as well if you can afford it.
There's even less reason to pick up anything other than the main hand these days now that there's a Rep PVP suit for purchase.
In the end though, it's your character and if looking good makes you happy then just tell people like me to stfu cause you'll be getting the main hand eventually anyway. I meant no disrestekpa, have fun and good luck. My shaman are only 57 so I'm still jealous you have shoulders and I don't.

I don't blame him.Wow, I've missed almost all of those EotS matches! ;) I say just suck it up, boxing anything other than AV without a pre-made usually sucks anyway from gawkers and fools. I've gone through multiple AB & WSG sets of token farming now and some of them were quite painful, like almost hour long sessions...for one token. Seems some horde *like* those BG's and are fully geared and just play those over and over and over...to me they are not interesting at all. AV is fun, not the rush RH, 10 minute win or lose games but the tug-o-war back and forth where strategy sometimes come into play, like a last minute tower cap deciding the outcome.

yeah, mage arcane explosions are really hard on the mboxing shaman team.
keep your fire nova totems on their own special hot key for when a mage shows up. And hopefully you can shock the mage the rest of the way.
I'm just shocked that someone prefers AB to EOTS... WSG and AB i friggin hate:( but to each their ownFor some reason, on retaliation the alliance who play EotS don't suck as much ass. We cream them everywhere else, like at least 70% of the time, but EotS for us is always 1 mark at a time.
