i am having no problems dual boxing on a machine with a Athlon64 3200+ at 2.01ghz (SINGLE CORE!) with 1GB ram and a Geforce 7600GT, also i am running dual monitors. i am not sure how much this effects performace, but i don't have any problems outside major cities. (org/shatt)

i would think you would be OK.

Well.

Do you know the speed of the ram?
I have 2 gigs of ram and run my 3 Wows fine, then again i have a dual core processor and the ram is 1066 speed and costed me 120 bucks.

Hi sjeffie91,

IMO the only thing that might hinder your dual boxing is your video card. The 7300 is not a good video card. You want a more gaming oriented card like a x600 or an x800 (8600, 9800, etc) but most laptops don't support upgrading the video card. My thoughts are that you may get by with all video settings turned down but I wouldn't want to play that way.
That said you can always download keyclone, get a trial account and see how it runs.
What kind of settings do you play at now with that card? (single boxing)

You should be ok, i run 3 wow on a single core, with a 6600 GT and 2GB ram, on a 24" screen.
Shattrash was a bit of a hassle, but since i did the defrag trcik it loads in about 10seconds when i hearth there. (search for jkdefrag for the trick)

The best way to find out is to sign up for a trial account and try to run them both (you don't have to install a multiplexer or anything, just try putting two windows up on the machine, get two level ones, and put one of them on /follow. Walk around and see how it feels. :)

That wounds just fine. I 5 box on a laptop myself thought it is alot faster then your. But if you can play 1 wow just fine.. 2 will go just fine aswell.. but ofc turn sound and all vid options off or to low on your alt.
