After many wipes, Nazan is finally down. It took me out 3 times before I get it's head. Thanks to Ghallo who pointed me to the direction of spec.

I'm very happy, now going to try it again just to see if I can do it again.

Nazan is my personal nemesis as well. Did you do anything special to take him down?

Nazan is my personal nemesis as well. Did you do anything special to take him down? What classes do you play?

I did it at lvl 62, me playing 4 ele shaman and a friend on his lvl 61 mage. Did it with some warriors/ferals aswell, but with the mage was the biggest challenge lol.

my tactic was: kill the 2 mobs that make the boss come down, spread your slaves so that if a Fire Bomb doesn't get absorbed by your groundings it only hits one and you can move forward easily. My main has a bit better gear and his LB's land a bit faster then my slave's. So i just nuked down Vazruden, no problems with that. Throw 4 lesser heals on the target that got hit, make sure groundings are up and start casting a LB on Nazan on the main toon. She got aggro, so i turned Nazan away from the group, 3 x lesser healing wave from the slaves on my main + 4x Gift of the Naaru. Then just nuke and heal, refresh groundings and walk out of the fire with your main. When my main lost aggro things got a lot harder, i think i still managed to kill him by just nuking away and let the mage die.

With a tank the tactic is pretty much the same, but then you only have to worry about keeping the tank up, groundings and nuke.

I spec'd my four pets for Fire Resistance and dropped a Fire Resistance totem and still got my but kicked on my first and second attempt. I logged onto my Alchemist, created 5 Major Fire Protection potions and kicked Nazan's ass without a single death (pet or party member). There's always a way, you just have to think outside of the box sometimes. I just wouldn't reccommend farming Nazan using potions. It can get pretty expensive.

I think there is a small chance of luck involve, because when I pulled the guards, one of them actually respawned, so I end up fighting 3 guards before boss came down from the dragon, the orc isn't hard, I finish him off fast before dragon landed, than I ran forward towards dragon as it came towards me, I use Rightouse Defense to aggro it because it is going for my healer, and for some reason, I was facing my group with dragon facing me, this made a lot easier as it's flame AoE can only damage me. I throw out everything i have, summon 2 water elements, and watch my tank's health very carefully so it doesn't get below 35%.
