My toons all hit 30 (yay) and got some new spells and I wanted to rework my macro system to encompass this new found usefullness. I am trying to consolidate my macros a bit and came up with the ones listed below. For some reason, neither work, lol. I am wicked tired and maybe I'm over looking something.

MACRO 1 bound to number 1 on my kb
/target [target=focus,help,nodead][target=Mychul,nodead]
/assist
/cast [nomodifier] Lightning Bolt
/cast [mod:shift] Chain Lightning

MACRO 2 bound to number 2 on my kb
/assist [target=focus, exists]
/cast [nomodifier] Earth Shock
/cast [mod:shift] Frost Shock
/cast [mod:alt} Flame Shock

Both of my /assist parts looked like the first one at first, but I've been messing with them trying different stuff :/

That may be your first problem. Secondly, I think ALT is default used for "Cast on Self".

Ye alt is cast on self..

Use shift and ctrl + nomod, then its g000d.. :> Or use bongos / bartender, they have the posibility to make it "shift" pages when you press shift and ctrl.. :) (I know bartender has atleast)

I got it fixed. Did I mention I was tired? The } instead of ] was one part. And um, it seems you don't get chain lightning until 32 and we are 30 :P
