ok this might sound kind of dumb but here goes.
How do you deal with the death of one or more (but not all) of your shammies in BGs? Obviously you can't get them just to run back unless you specifically control them via a window, but is there any other way of doing it?

If not all shammies are dead, rez? Reincarnate? If I have multiple shams that are dead and no other options but to run back, I pick a dead shammy and have other dead shammies on follow. Then I use my mouse to run him back (hold down both mouse buttons). Or I put them on follow, then mute keyclone and focus on lead dead shammy and put him on auto walk or use movement keys.

Shammies get a rez ability sometime before lvl 15. I would assume, I haven't bg'd yet but would assume one would rez themselves rather than run back.

rezz is a 10 second cast and most of the time you dont have the luxury of time to rezz and drink up in bgs. a combination of ahnks and rezzes work pretty well if youre in a situation where a few died but you still surivied majority of the opposing side's rush. If it doesnt look like I wont have the time to rezz or ahnk will be wasted, I just stand my ground and wait for my entire group to be wiped out. i also try to release all my characters at the same time to avoid being spawned at different gys.

if it is not my main sometimes i just go to the grave yard and get the toons. If it is my main ... i just try and keep my alts together untill my main can rez and go get my team again.

depends on where they die and the situation
1 dies ? i try to rez him after the fight.. or perhaps ankh
2 die ? and the 'big' fight is over, rez/ankh
3 or more die.. i often let them all die !!! if they managed to get 3 down, that means im gonna loose the other 2 sooner or later, regroup at spirit

I fight until i can't fight anymore then regroup, if ankh is reasonable then i take that option but would rather not waste them until i have evaluated the situation. In AV if i know that combat will end soon then sometimes i wait to rez incase of GY caps and such. One strategy i find works out for me is to use PiP throughout the match to often trip up my enemies, or somewhat spread your characters out so its not as easy to distinguish the main character. i switched mains roughly 5+ times in 51-60 bracket for AV.
Also crayonbox/nevergonna last week sometime i hearthed to shattrah and bam you were right beside me but you were afk, i was just going there to logout but was cool that i saw ya there.
