View Full Version : Delay - keyclone not working correctly?

This is the first time I've used keyclone, and there's probably an easy solution.

When I play, the non-master account is getting delayed behind. It's not turning correctly and therefore often gets stuck a lot... It's overall too slow to keep up with the other, only spellcasting is almost synced.

If you dont use follow that is normal.

If you do use follow. well thats just the way pathing works

It just breaks when I try. Do I have to disable on movement then?

this seems impossible, I can't even move without it breaking/moving a different direction so I have to start configuring it again

howdy Kaken and welcome to the forums!

you will have to add your movement keys to your do-not-pass (DNP) list.
go to keyclone/setup/do-not-pass ... click in the key area... then hit your movement keys (WASDQE or arrows). don't forget your auto-run key. then hit ok

that's it. hit your /follow macro and then drive. all your clones should be in tow.

if you have any other questions, please feel free to drop me a note.

Rob

thank you!FYI, there may be times where you'll want those keys to pass (say you want all yer chars to dance when you type /dance for example).

I would recommend unbinding them on the slaves for movement as an alternative. So you go into key bindings on your slave, go to movement..and unbind wsadqr). That way you can still type those keys to yer slaves via keyclone, but it won't make yer chars move.

I have two questions if you don't mind:
1. When typing on one character I open like 20 panes and write "dfuhgudugdfui" etc. is there any way to "pause" the keyclone when you write?
2. Is it possible to improve the following-distance? so it's more consistent.

2. Nope.

last question: is there a target macro or something i can use for client 2? so I don't have to alt tab the same enemy.

at the very least, you will have to set up an /assist macro so your alts will get the targets of your active.
just click on the target.. hit your /assist key... fire.. loot.. rinse/repeat

(there is quite a depth of macros you can get into... /assist and /follow are the bare basics)
