Hey

Do this happen to you guys often ??
ive just dinged 70 and my epic PVP gear is currently
"merciless mace, Merciless Shield and merciless head" - so im still grinding my gear,
and i still die/wipe sometimes.

In EoTs, AB and WSG i only get flamed and people saying

- OMG A NOOB BOXER
- 1 Person taking 4 spaces
- Look at him, we will loose
- ETC. with all kinds of other crap.

its beginning to reach the point of frustrating, im the silent type when
gaming so i dont comment people saying stuff to me in the BG-chat or whispers.

But how do u deal with these problems ??

Yes, it's happened to me many times, get used to it. Blizzard says multiboxing is fine, there is no rule against multiboxing in battlegrounds so I just try my best while in there while ignoring the negative comments. There's been a few good wins in BG's other than AV but mostly losses because too many follow my group around. Their loss, they even have blamed me for being a spectacle when I point out that we'll lose if they just follow me around. 8|

I ignore pretty much all chat, even tells for the most part. I may come off as a prick but I have my hands full usually trying to keep horde off my back.

I went through the same ridicules and mockery as I was grinding honor for my gear. Now that my gear is fairly decent, I'm rarely ridiculed for gear, but I do however get the occasional "hacker" "cheater" "you suck at 1 so you make 5 shamans" comments.

It happens only rarely here. Usually it's something along the lines of "OMG! The Daltons! :D", even from other servers in my battlegroup :D
Then again, I always act friendly and reply to simple questions. When people keep on asking questions, I link them to this website and explain them that I have to fight, not chat. Most people understand that.

Strip naked and equip your fishing equipment imo. +5 bonus points for glowing enchanted fishing poles. Emoting lightsaber noises and misquoting scenes from the movies is always a plus.

If the enemies stop attacking you out of lols, put on a light show.

Get good, play reasonably often, then people will start saying things like:

"Hooray, Boyl's here, multiboxing FTW"
"Dude, you've obviously never 5-capped in <8 min because Boylston's here"
"Hey Boylston, where do you want me this game?"
etc etc

I don't ever have to defend myself anymore, usually someone else from the BG steps in and does it for me.

Just ignore the idiots. A bunch of people pulled that crap the first AV i joined, and by first I mean I have never set foot in there in the entire time ive been playing WOW. (Im not really a pvp'er but I want the olympic stuff). I got a bunch of whining tells that im lame and I suck. Too bad I finished with all five toons in spots 1-5. Just put em on ignore and have fun. Things are changing as more and more blues add comments and with the RAF thing looking like a multi-boxing gift from the gods people are beginning to get over it. I get far more "Sweet" tells than "lamer" tells anymore.

Just switch off the BG channel and most of the problem goes away :)

Even in mainly green questing greens/blues, i'm topping the kill charts.. Ending with like 10-15 kills and 1 or 2 deaths. I tend to get a lot of love when i enter a BG on my shamans now.

Although, i've gave up on them for the moment.. I get so much more satisfaction killing 2 or 3 horde with my 1 warlock than 2 or 3 horde with 3 shamans.

OH MAN! I feel your pain. I am currently grinding out marks for gear and boi are the some haters out there.

Here is what I did and now do.

What I did was try to get everyone to work together WHICH WAS AN EPIC FAIL.

Now I just ignore the comments and do the zerg thing. I run from flag to flag capping nonstop. Never stopping. This works SO AMAZINGLY WELL.

What happens is this. I run from flag to flag, mebbe one gets taken back by the alliance, once this happens the /bg chat fills with insults to the horde for letting ally cap the flag. Horde then run up and start taking it back or Ding the flags. You just do your thing and let the others figure out how to D since they can't figure out how to change a light bulb in a BG.

It works so god damn well its amazing. I went from loss after loss to 5 cap after 5 cap after 4 cap. It's amazing.

WSG just chase the flag carrier and kill him.

Let me know how this turns out.

For AV , dont listen

Learn your toons get good at playing them then do AB, Eye, WSG

AV should be your first BG, with RAF its a must for the quests alone.

I would always say I'm questing , shhhhhh

I know the smaller BG don't seem to do as well with mboxers but in A/V they used to complain but now they seem to like us.
When two of us mbox A/V we can really dominate the field at times. We all have the trinket Stormpike Insignia Rank 6 ('http://www.wowarmory.com/item-info.xml?i=17904') which allows us to teleport back to the top of the map.
We have 10+ of us teleport back at once and all drop nova totems and pretty much clean out anything at the graveyard flag there.
If you wipe, rinse repeat. If you don't wipe send in some fire elementals. The horde have captured the graveyard so we have a steady flow of targets to kill.
We have won several A/V by just preventing the Horde from killing our boss. We win the numbers game more than once.

There was another A/V where the horde were up over 100 points and the whole alliance side started to follow the army of shaman down the BG.
I thought it was incredible when most of the alliance team started to follow us. We were unstoppable then. We won the numbers game there too.

I almost never read the chat anyway, if it doesn't come to me over ventrillo it is not really important.

Make them want to play with you, because you destroy your opponents, quietly and efficiently.

For the short time I grinded in there I quickly found a way to get around all this. Far as I’m concerned everyone is happy because I cannot see what they are saying.

Click combat log, now you can't what’s been said. Maybe no ideal for some of you but after a few hours of grinding I saw enough. Would be different if there were more positive things said to me. Since there’s not I have no reason to read it.

Unfortunately while you are learning and in starter gear you will get nothing but abuse but stick with AV, improve your tactics/gear then expand to the other BG's. You will get a reputation as a force for good across your battlegroup, someone who influences the outcome of a game in a positive way.

(has most PvP items, S3 shoulders etc... 500 resilience, 1200 spell dmg..). Gief Brutal shoulders!

Rolling with 4 mages at the moment.. I think it'll be priceless jumping in the middle of all the alliance running out of Galv's room and arcane explosioning x4. Trying to make plenty of characters before lich king comes out so i can decide what im going to level :)

I think multiboxers like the smell of their own farts (I know I do!).

I was told to get out of the 51-60 AV last night as I was wasting everyone's time.

The funny part is that it was when we were down 10 men, 40 to 30. Now, I may not be perfectly tuned yet, but I'm sure I'm better than 4 people that aren't there. Not to mention that I was level 60 with outland quest gear in the 51-60 AV, making me fairly formidable (not up with the twinks, but good).

Anyhow, I ended up finishg 1st, 4th, 6th and 15th (poor Arbaa bore the brunt of the attacks for some reason, even though he's #4).

Or maybe I was wasting their time because I was trying and slowing down the marks.

Haha, that is recognizable.
Yesterday we did WG with a premade and failed miserably. Then someone aknowledged that "multiboxing sucks in WG" which was a fact(and it was written down in a positive way, not meant as an attack), but I replied: "But at least my team was on top in the charts of our raid!".
