Is going to suck for us multi-boxers with multiple groups...they just increased the aount of exp it takes to lvl from 70-80 by 80%. People have reported times of 24 hours to go from 71-72 and thats played time.

I really hope the lower it...

This is blizzards response to all those people that took 3 days vacation from their jobs to get to 70 in less then 24 hours with two days to sit around and be bored.

I am not saying i like this, i think its a little too much right now, a little lower will be great.

But, agreein with fur.

at least it''ll last

I like the idea, but it's a little daunting to players with a lot of alts. Oh well, I guess that's the price ya pay. No biggie. Perhaps those ten levels will be much funner than the 60-70 grind was.

The harder the better imo, to me wow's biggest weakness has been its far to fast leveling process, i guess im just a grinder at heart.

This is great for those that enjoy content. I think it's good to make it a challenge.

Was that really an anti-multiboxing post? And what's the big deal about it being his 2nd post.

I read somewhere that blizzard's MO is to try both extremes, then meet halfway. At first the leveling curve was too easy, now it's harder. I honestly think that they are just trying to manipulate certain aspects of the beta. I imatine that at first they might have wanted players to move up fast, so spread them out a bit, and now that they are spread they want it to stay that way.

Its all beta, so its likely to change.

As long as there are quests to fill all the levels, i applaud them for it.

Nothing better then some blizzard lore that lasts a bit longer then 4hours per level

Yeah, I don't see the problem. Most of us haven't seen 71-80 yet, so who cares how long it takes? As long as they fill it with quests, it's even a positive step. Experiencing the game is the point, not being max level and running out of things to do, imo.

More time is awesome.... make leveling more like it was in EQ.. the game is beyond easy to level in as is...

kill and quest EXP was doubled in TBC beta, for testing purposes. allowing people to get to 70 easier to test the content they needed tested (kara back then)

this should be no suprise to anyone.

I think 60-70 is way to fast anyway. i have no issue with slowing 70-80

I'll be happy if they double the speeds of gryphons, hippogryphs, etc.

Judging by the number of zones in northrend, and reports on the size of those zones, I believe 70-80 will take about 1.5x the time 60-70 took. Of course, I could be way off... they could cram a million quests into each zone. But I doubt it.

Planning to do instance runs all the way from 70 to 80 anyway. Dont realy care how much time it takes ;)
