I've got a 72 paladin in the beta. Retadins are beefy.

Anyone 5-box pallies? Or melee? Doable?

I'm not so concerned about heals or survivability. I know they'll be fine. My main concerns are the range requirements for multiboxing melee, losing targets, losing follow, etc.

I believe someone has some 5 box Rogue group?
To me 5 boxing melee sounds about as much fun as pissing glass, but it's theoretically possible, just a real pain.

And yes Retadins are a whole new force right now in beta... kind of excited to play mine if they stay as-is (with the bugs fixed of course) :)

Ebola had been doing a pally group on the side. Not sure where he got with that.

I have a 5 druid team, and it works pretty well in kitty mode. I just overshoot the mob, and turn slightly, and the rest are right in range. It does get dicey at times, but with paladins survivability, it might make that point moot. 5x consecrate should be pretty nice too :)

Damnit, now im gonna have to roll 5 pallies. As if I didn't already have enough teams...

Me too! I had some luck with four enhancement shaman with the same technique, overshoot the mob with the main, hit S to cause the alts to step back and break follow, and turn the main around to join the ass-kicking. I stopped playing them around 21-22 and hadn't yet run into any blinkers or mob AOE, which are where I think that'd break down.

I have a 5 box pally group and it works fine in pvp. in fact I find it to be far easier than casters in some situations. boxing melle is not nearly as painful as most people belive and in many cases it is even more relaxing than playing casters I find.

The real legit problem, is pvp. There is, in my opinion, no real competitive option for a melle centric boxer in any pvp, except maybe open world ganking.

If follow did not break on melle hits and the follow distance was closer it could work, but that is simply not the case.

So if you care about pvp I would seriously consider not going 5 pallies, if you only want to do pve stuff rock on.
