Hi all,
Im trying to help my friend set up his Mac and 2-boxing on one computer. The main problem we are running into though is what program to use for broadcasting.
Im pretty sure keyclone requires windows only, but would like clarification.
Is there any other program thats even close that might work for him?. The only other one i can find would be clonekeys which is mac only. Would Octopus work?
I would like for him to get something that is able to have a do no pass list as keyclone has which really is a selling feature.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am using a macbook with Clonekeys. To get around the lack of a "don't pass" feature, simply unbind the keys you do not wish to be replicated on the second window. This will avoid your clone trying to use the same movement keys and breaking the /follow command.

Good luck with the mac, im currently 4-boxing on a macbook 13" with 4GB of ram and its doing fine. Though, with just 3 it is a bit better.
Yep, thats basically the same conclusions we came to.
As hes only 2 boxing it shouldnt be so bad. One clone can have WSAD as movement and the other can use the arrows if he does need to swap.
Cant really imagine playing wow with just a mouse. Just seems so painful lol .

How are you able to do this? WoW didn't run well on my macbook when I tried to single box with it. I ended up using it only when I wanted to fish while watching dvd in the living room...

I went with the fastest version of the 13" book and upped it to 4GB of memory from Crucial. ~$2,100 after all is said and done, including wireless mighty mouse, case/bag, remote, and adaptors.
In-game on my main I have all usual graphics settings bottomed out except terrain distance and spell detail due to it being very difficult to see a twinks enchants in BG without spell detail high.
On the alt sessions I have bottomed out everything for graphics, switched to the lowest resolution and even disabled sound. essentially these are micro windows that have been cut to the bare bones.
At the most laggy times in Org i still get about 10-15 FPS. On the main session I still get good resolution and decent detail.

I only use my mouse to target, all attacks/spells are done by setting macros to my action bars and using the "1" through "=" sign to cast. I also use "z" through "v" as my frost nova buttons so that one cast doesnt trigger them all. to AOE grind I will aggro, freeze, run, aggro, freeze, run, aggro, freeze, run, then AE them down as they all come close.
This is done by unbinding all of those keys on every session, put the spell in any location you want then bind that location to one of the buttons, be sure to make them all different so they dont trigger at the same time, though.
