OK So i have started up my shammys on the server with my old main, figuring he has 15,000g on him, i could help boost my toons with gear months and what not. So i rolled on PVP server with my 5 shammans. Forced to be alliance as my 1st toons were. The issue im running into is every time i run into a horde im usually nice and keep going, but when I do it seems not 1-3 minutes later a lev 70 comes in blasts my toons /lol /rofl /camp.

1) How many dual boxers actually play on PVP realms ? Do you like it?
2) Im sick of allinace been playing them for 4 years Going horde which is the best race out there to be ? Thinking Orc?

Thanks in advance

I hope you don't believe that the same thing doesn't happen to us hordies. If so, you're in for a rude awakening.

anyways
1) I would never ever ever roll on a non pvp realm. You seem like a RPPVP kinda guy. Try one of those, no joke.
2) I guess I can relate with this one, as I've been horde sooo long I get a little grin on my face when I stealth into alliance zones on my rogue and the alliance music queues. It's a whole different theme to the game and somewhat feels new for a moment. To answer your question, it's not an easy answer but horde usually choose race depending on what class they roll. All horde races have a lot of flavor tbqh. When you walk into a horde city, it's like a holloween costume party every time. Anyways, here's how you choose what's best for you. Are you a min/maxer or do you choose for the looks of the race? If you're a min/maxer, there's a general consensus on what race is best for each class and I'll list them below for you. If you're in it for the looks, well you honestly can't pick a bad race because there's no really bad combination of any class-race hordeside. There's better choices, but nothing just bad like say a human mage. Now that's a horrible race for the mage class(speaking racial abilities here). Here's the list.

Min/maxer general consensus for best race per class.
Mage- undead
Shaman- tauren/orc
Warlock- orc/undead
Hunter- tauren/orc(B.Mastery spec)
Warrior- Orc(pvp)/Tauren(pve)
Priest- undead
Rogue- undead
Druid- duuuur tauren
Paladin-durrrr belf

There you have it. There are valid arguments that sway the choices differently per person, for example people who say orc is the best warlock because a warlocks only counter is rogues and wotf doesn't do crap against rogues but stun resist sure helps, and then there are those that say undead is the best warlock because in a mirror match an undead will/should kill an orc warlock every time. So, take your time and pick wisely. Don't go picking something like a belf warlock for looks if you're going to one day want to pvp. It wouldn't be a horrible choice, but skills like stun resist and wotf are generally more useful than a spell interrupt.

Sorry to hear you are running into that kind of resistance. I level a couple of sets on Mal' Ganis and only once have met an Allie(in my case) that camped me for awhile. I actually take more flak from Horde people, but even that is not worth losing sleep over.

If a higher level opposite faction toon wants to make your life miserable, there's a good chance they can. For me...adjust to the facts (they can piss you off if you let them, and we as multiboxers have more options to work with to level out (temporarily fix) the issue).

PVP servers imo are the ONLY way to go (what is online life without some tension to make it gratifying). There are probably rougher servers than others to play/multibox on, but we can all do due dilligence on that before we roll a new set.

An online friend of mine that plays off of Executus(pvp) server told me about how the Horde/Allie ratio is about 3:1.5 or so. He talked me into setting up an Allie crew (way more Horde on this server than Allie). I will tell you later this month if my feelings change on this, but at some level I am mental enough to know that even camped... I can outlast your camping, I will remember you, I will not leave this area before you, and you will need to watch over your shoulder more than I...because that's just they way it is.

Race wise... (imo) undead are Primo... but the rest of Horde are all EXCELLENT choices. Just like Indy..."Choose wisely!"

What do you think about tauren vs orc for shaman?

Tauren: 5% hp (always god) and Warstomp
Orc: stun resist, blood fury

In my experience playing orcs, the stun resist is never really there when you need it. I'll resist trivial stuff like Charge, but never something important like a 5 point kidney shot. Blood fury would be nice though

4-5 warstomps is nice, and so is the extra hp for free

Warstomp is generally better than Hardiness in most situations, but being a multiboxer and having 5 grounding totems available and 5 separate earth shocks if you stagger them correctly, warstomp loses a little value since you'd basically only use it to get your own heals off.

Hardiness is decent when stacked with other stun resist effects, it helps you keep control of your whole team more often, it's a rogue killer, and you usually don't notice how much it helps because you're not on the other end of the stick, being the stunner not the stunnee.

Warstomp is better for most playstyles, but it really just depends who your enemy is and which classes you want a better counter against. Warstomp against casters and somewhat against melee if you need a clutch heal. Hardiness against melee, period.

I played PVP for 3 years and the reason was that I felt that, originally, I would be missing out on an aspect of the game without the ability to just go out and PVP at any time. But over the years I found that what I was really missing out on was a nice sandbox mode outside PVP where I could play when I wasn't in the mood, and there was NO WAY to get that on a PVP server. Spending hours and hours in battlegrounds and arena was plenty of PVP for me.

Anyway, I did play horde and alliance on a PVP server, and it was always equally bad on either faction. It's easy to develop a seething hatred for the other faction and think that the people you're playing with are better than that. It's not the case.

I'll agree with most of these for PvP, but with the importance of faction for gear, and the fact that we'll have a bunch of new faction to grind in WotLK, humans aren't bad at all for any class they can play. Also, with the changes in spirit in WotLK, they'll make even better choices for mages & warlocks, and they're already the best PvE priest for alliance.
