Hey folks,
I'm an old time two-boxer but a keyclone n00b. I purchased the software a couple of days ago in hopes that it would make my two boxing less alt+tab intensive. I'm almost done setting it up but I've run into a problem with modifiers unexpectedly passing to my "slave" toon. Here's my setup:
- 2 instances of WoW on 1 WinXP machine
- 2 monitors w/ maximizer disabled
- Hunter is the main, mage is the slave
- using a white-list with the 'strict' option checked
Since I'm playing two very different classes, I've had to do a lot of hotstrings so I could map one key on the hunter to an entirely different key on the mage. One of my hotstrings map 'ALT+w' from the hunter window to '1' on the mage window. The problem is that the 'alt' keypress is automatically passing to the mage's window so that the '1' passed by keyclone now becomes an 'ALT+1' which is mapped to something entirely different e.g. scorch as opposed to poly. oops...
This happens with the shift modifier also. I have some macros setup on the mage window that will cast a different spell depending of what modifier is pressed. For example, I have a mage macro that opens a portal to undercity when clicked but will cast teleport when shift+clicked. As a test, I had the hunter's window selected and I pressed 'shift' by itself a few times. Sure enough, the icon for this macro in the mage window toggled between the portal spell and the teleport spell with each keypress. Is there a way to prevent this? I don't want to pass modifiers automatically.
Thanks in advance for the help.
